Wrinkly lips are normal full lips lol, but you're so real for this. Lips have wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and can be asymmetrical. Wrinkles are lip folds which are there because they help our mouths MOVE

Man I'm so so tired of beauty standards that these influencers (not Monica, the fake ones) have created. Overfilling their faces and especially their lips has brought us to this point where seeing something as natural as lines on lips (yes lines not wrinkles) is considered 'ugly'. I'm done and tired of these standards that don't even make sense anatomically. I used to be so insecure of every inch of my body when I was 18 and now that I'm 23, I'm insecure about some things and yes some things do need to be taken care of but I'm so much more comfortable realising there's so much more to life than matching illogical beauty standards.

How funny, I remember back in the early 00s people were wanting lip lines, to the point that they would literally draw lip lines on their lips. I think both for aesthetics and because apparently it made your lips look fuller. 🤷🏻‍♀️

People still do this, it’s a technique to contour the lips and make them look larger using two shades. These lip lines are different than that though.

I have loved lip crinkles since I was a little girl. My aunt picked me up to spend the night at her house. It was a break in the crap going on at home, and she was always so cheerful to me. She had gum in her mouth and sparkly white teeth and just a tinted oil/balm and she had all these pretty crinkles in her lips that smoothed out whenever she smiled. I always thought it was so beautiful and still do. Your lips are gorgeous and so are you!

growing up I never knew the photos of the lips used in lip products were of models with lip fillers hence they were always plumped, no wrinkles. it took me some time to figure out that normal lips don’t rly look like that, and that is okay

Sometimes they're just photoshopped to look like lip fillers. Even back in the 90s photoshopping until the model looked like literal plastic happened too often. These days the photoshops actually smooth out with filters that retain skin pore texture instead of making it a completely plastic looking mess.

My lips arent wrinkly but my under eyes are, and are super purple. So i feel you girl, nothing i do im gonna have creasing under eyes. But having creases under you eyes is normal, the skin there is thin, just like lips. With filters ppl expect ppl to blurred irl, which is just crazy
