Hating Game was the exact same for me. It got me in to the contemporary romance genre, and that will make it a forever favourite for me. Sure, I’ve read better romance books since then, but I still consider it as one of my favourites no matter what.

Happy Place was my favorite Emily Henry too. Just finished it, and it was so, so good. Love what you’re saying about people with autism. My nephew has autism as well. I’ll have to pick up The Kiss Quotient sometime! 💕

I have not read Seven Year Slip or Eve Brown. I have read all the others and love them too! Wall of Winnipeg has been my favorite romance for years. It is my comfort book.

Nearly your entire list could be mine. I just got done rereading The Simple Wild and I. Love. That. BOOK😍 The Happy Ever After Playlist is my favorite Abbey Jiminez also, I could reread it forever. I highly recommend reading the other Mariana Zapata books cuz her slow burns (all except her first couple) are chefs kiss. I didn't even think i liked slow burn until i read hers. She is the queen of them lol Ashley Poston's books and hoe she tackles grief always brings me to tears. My mom past away 4 years ago and so much of what i have felt over the years are in the pages of her books. For years I didnt read romance and The Unhoneymooners and The Hating Game were like my gateway drugs into the genre and now it's my favorite. Romance books are just my happy place❤
