What are some of your favorite "strange" video game controllers? And is Ian too mean to me? Let me know!
@MrMegaManFan3 жыл бұрын
As strange controllers go I've always enjoyed the Samba De Amigo maracas and the Donkey Kong congas. Rhythm controllers are a gimmick, but they're fun. Ian is not too mean or vice versa -- your relationship with each other is great entertainment to listen to as is.
@MrAdrenaline19823 жыл бұрын
As a kid I loved the TurboTouch 360 controller for Sega Genesis. It had a touch pad instead of a traditional D-pad, and it made fighting games a lot easier for me at the time (aside from being a 3 button pad).
@rynomclaughlin15953 жыл бұрын
I love collecting all types of N64 controllers, it's my favorite system and all, my favorite weird one is this one handed glove type N64 controller released by Reality Quest (Made a PS1 version too I think) it's wired so no infrared non responsive BS like the Power Glove, it's fun to use it to beat games I've played for years like Starfox 64 and and Legend of Zelda OOT/MM
@thejackal0073 жыл бұрын
I think the one I like that nobody talks about is the Ultraracer 64. It's an odd looking controller, but the steering wheel built in responds really well on games like Mario Kart 64.

The ASCII Grip is great. I play virtually all of my classic RPGs using that thing. I've got both the Super Famicom and PS1 versions and USB dongles for both. I also like the Madcatz Retrocon, which was sent to me from a listener of mine. I used it until it stopped working. RIP Retrocon. You were very comfy, but I suppose the 8Bitdo is an acceptable replacement.

I'm a WNY native as well. There was a flea market called Super Flea and Farmers Market on Walden dr. I went there a lot as a kid, but collected sports cards at the time, so I remember the booths with tons of games in them, even if i never took advantage. By the time I got into game collecting, naturally it was being torn down due to turning into a health and safety hazard over the years

Believe it or not that soldier pad design is making a comeback with a peripheral called the Thumb Pro arcade stick. It's exactly how it sounds, a arcade stick box with a sorta PlayStation style D-pad portion of on the left connected with a cord and has a base plate for your hand to rest on.

There are two bakeries that produce Girl Scout Cookies. They mostly produce the same cookies but some are unique to the bakery. And the common ones have different names between the bakeries. Example, Samoas and Carmel DeLites are the same cookie by the different bakeries. The recent lemon cream ones I remember were Lemonades unique to the one bakery. There once was a Lemon Chalet Cremes that was discontinued.

I'd be shocked if zelda WW/TP didn't make it to the switch. They've been going through and porting literally everything else. I personally don't find TP to be a particularly spectacular remake but WW was fantastic and fixed a lot of problems folks had with the original. I would rather them release them bundled together instead of trying to sell both at full price though.
