It's so nice to hear from someone who advises about stores we have in South Africa!! As lovely as the American videos are, it's difficult to get their products.

I also have low porosity hair and my hair hates coconut oil. I use it in an oil mixture or when I deep condition only with other oils. try jojoba oil and almond oil.
@lifewithpabi7 жыл бұрын
+Lucille Moleko Yes I really want to try jojoba oil, I have heard quite a lot of low po girls rave about it! Haven't tried almond oil as yet too but I will give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

People think I'm exaggerating when I say coconut oil doesn't work with my hair. Thank God I'm not the only one

Oh God no, my hair loathes coconut oil as a sealant! 😩 You aren’t exaggerating at all!
@lisakhanya38066 жыл бұрын
Same here!! I had to learn that the hard, expensive way after I had bought the AfroBotanics range(they contain coconut oil). I thought that my hair only disliked coconut oil in its natural form😭😭😭being natural is so expensive!!

Hi Thanks for the video. It’s amazing how different products work differently with everyone. I am a lo-po,4b hair. And I still have the Aunt Jackie shampoo, leave in conditioner, they were bad for my hair, caused major hair loss. So is anything with olive oil, I am still trying the recover as the hair loss has not stopped. For the Shea butter cream, try Native child, they have a nice whipped cream

Sharon Manzini Agreed! I'm still struggling to find products for my 4b low porosity hair😓

Loved this video, will try out some of the products. I also looooove that you use products that are easily available. Thank you in terms of shea butter there's a product called Purpul hair(not sure if you have heard of it) they sell oil and Shea butter, would love if you could review that...

Please excuse the essay :-)I love your video, when you started describing your hair it was like listening to myself speak of my own hair and that coconut bit, completely sold me...I am officially a fan. Also I love that you use South African products!I was browsing for low porosity advise when I found your video. Please excuse my ignorance, but could I ask if you use/follow this routine each time you wash your hair? Do you use some of the products in-between wash days? If yes, which ones and how? How many times do you wash? I really want to have healthy natural hair that grows but I am seriously defeated. I am this close to going bald :-(Please help!

Hi Pabi. I love your page. I was wondering if my South African sisters have joined the Chébé Powder ritual that is hot in the market? I have a supply of chebe powder if you want to try it in your channel.

Hi Pabi! So I tried the Aunt Jackie butter but it left white residue on my hair. Cantu Leave in conditioner does the same. How do I prevent this from happening ? And what does it mean when this happens?

Its a pleasure! The one that I mentioned in the video I purchased at my local salon (you can find it pretty much at any salon (Bloemfontein if you are in Johannesburg) but Clicks also sells the Tropic Isle Living brand of JBCO. Both work equally well.

How often do you wash your hair and how often fo you use the LCO method
@lifewithpabi6 жыл бұрын
I wash my hair every week (if I don’t have a protective style on) or once a month if I have a protective style 🙈 and I moisturize every 2nd or 3rd day depending on how my hair feels, my hair doesn’t need to be moisturized everyday because it is able to retain moisture for longer but it differs for everyone.
@MANANATURALS265 жыл бұрын
I would wash my hair once a month with bentonite clay mask and then wash it out with conditioner.
