Some amazing live performances. Try Knebworth (1979) Kashmir & In The Evening. From Earls Court (1975) In My Time Of Dying. A great studio song is You Shook Me, great keyboard harmonica & guitar solos. Thanks for another reaction, & PLEASE keep reacting to Led Zeppelin, greatest band ever.

Jimmy and Robert wrote it but Ji.my Page the guitarist mixed and produced all their albums!! Sometimes John Paul Jones...bassist/keyboardist helped in the .arranging of orchestral elements! Pure geniuses...we will never see that again!

Check out Led Zeppelin's entire catalog... Their "bad" songs are far better than most bands best songs!

The song was actually written by a woman. It was a folk song. It was then made more famous by another female folk singer Joan Baez. Zeppelin took the song and made it into their own. The song can be interpreted in a number of ways....but it is essentially about a musician who is going back on the road and leaving their lover behind.

I had heard it was about a soldier going off to war. I felt it suited these guys, they loved preforming live, but hated leaving their wives & kids.
@Cosmo-Kramer7 ай бұрын
@@sicotshit7068 That's what the original version, by Anne Bredon, was about. But Zep's version, although not explicitly stated, is about a male musician (Robert) going on the road and leaving his girl behind.

You're our little black cat😂❤🌹I don't know who wrote the song first, but, Joan Beaz played it, and then Led Zep made a cover of Joan's version....But, so much better...You resumed everything...The guy, doesn't know if he wants to leave the woman or not😂But, we all lived that kind of situation, isn't it? And, as you said, the dynamics, the music is perfect with the lyrics... You're my black cat of the islands, your smile is incredible, you're so cute, i love when you're dancing....😂❤🌹🌹🌹🌹Peace from France.....J'aime trop quand tu danses sur la musique, et ton sourire est magnifique aussi....😂
