Hello Ruth from possibly one your original subscribers. We used to moan together about the Alpha-h packaging and wished that they would glam it up! Anyhoo, a lifetime or two later, I am still here and still enjoying to the hilt, your videos and blogs. You alone are responsible for my online shopping mania!! And for that I thank you, but I know that my darling husband does not share my view on this subject. I love the products that you introduce us to and your insider skincare knowledge is so very valuable. Mother AMR's textile art is so beautiful it is forbidding; my grandmother did needlepoint, and knowing how long it takes and what precision is required makes me sympathize with your mother in advance of demands for commissioned work she may get from this video! foomphy yes indeed. I crochet and a friend asked me to make her a blanket. She was shocked when I told her she couldn’t afford it!! When I explained the cost of yarn and hours of labour she got it!

This is my favourite ever video of yours. We had a horrid en-suite bathroom that made me sad. Recently had it completely done up and now I love it and actually feel happier on a daily basis when I use it. Your mum’s work is exquisite. The wall hanging is absolutely stunning, love the colours and it’s so so detailed! I’m shocked how good it i. before you showed it it’s not what I expected at all, better than a lot Indian textiles and embroidery( which I adore) I saw went I went to visit family in India. You are very lucky to own something so beautiful. I think hands down it beats your dolls house cabinet which I love too.

I love the wall hanging. My mom used to sew smocked dresses for my nieces when they were babies. I don’t have children, so she made a piece for me and had it framed. I will cherish it forever. Adding a mirror opposite a window is like adding another window. I have the same problem with my husband with windows and doors.

I love seeing miscarriage/pregnancy loss charities. I wrote a thesis paper after our 2nd son was stillborn in 1996, about how women did not receive much support and understanding with pregnancy loss. We had two more miscarriages in 2011 & 2014 (after 4 more living children) and while not enough support for many, was happy to see it changing and it being talked about more openly.

My cousin makes similar things and made one for each of my children, using old pieces from my old kids room, and I love them so much! Your mother is very talented indeed, maybe she could do a few and then put them up for sale, so no deadlines or pressure? That way she could see if the market was there.

Whew! I thought the same thing--very glad to know it's secured. When I was 5 I was chased by my brother and bumped into a similar mirror which crashed on top of me! (Clearly I survived and wasn't too badly injured, but to this day I still feel skittish around leaning mirrors).
