Yes, I am from Finland and the water at my parents house comes from our own spring in the forest. It is the best tasting water ever!

I was a sound engineer many moons ago.....you can get acoustic panels .....but curtains, rugs, hanging textiles on the wall and adding “stuff” so the sound waves have to bend (which diffuses them) will work x

I feel so stupid for commenting on this because it is not really what this video is about but I was laughing so hard when you realised how old you are. I turned 38 yesterday and when I realised I was 18 20 years ago I reacted pretty much the same as you did. How can it be 20 years?!? This can be right… Anyway thank you for great content. Really appreciate your reviews. Love, Tanja

I'm not a sound engineer but have been in the film and video production industry for ages. Drapes will definitely help. They do make acoustic sound panels but they aren't always very aesthetically pleasing for one's home... especially your beautiful home with such amazing charm and character. The more fabric and pillowy-billowy things, the better. One thing that may be viable option... several years ago my sister had an accent wall upholstered in her master bedroom. They put up quilting batting and then "wallpapered" over it with her fabric and trimmed it out with substantial welting in the same fabric to hide the staples along the edges. It was stunning and would really help with the echo issue. The only downfall is an upholstered wall needs regular vacuuming, just like any piece of upholstery, and that can be a bit of a bother with such an expanse of "upholstery". But any sort of drapes, pillows, mattress, bedding, upholstered headboard, throws, poufs/ottomans, rugs and/or upholstered furniture will help absorb the sound, so the sound isn't bouncing off of all the hard surfaces. Hope that was helpful.

What a joy! A gorgeous, but down-to-earth supermodel, with a wonderful sense of humor about herself and her life, that can give me great tips I can afford (usually!).I will try all the suggestions I can get in California. Sometimes, not so many here.

Birch sap is amazing. Lots of Korean skincare brands use it and they actually substitute water with it. For the extra kick of moisture. I love it!

I had a similar experience with earrings, my husband very kindly bought me a pair of white gold diamond studs for Christmas one year, which I had wanted for ages, I loved them and wore them constantly for about 18 months until... I lost one! I didn't want to tell him, so I bought a pair of silver cz studs which were roughly the same size and wore those constantly for at least another two years before I told him 😄😳

Hi Ruth. I was wondering what t-shirt you're wearing? I'm constantly hunting for the perfect white v neck tee that isn't so thin that your bra shows through. P.S. could you please make a video on exactly how to half tuck in a t-shirt so it looks nice and not stupid/general outfit zhuj-ing video (just learnt the 'correct' way to roll/fold up shirt sleeves so they look nicer) P.P.S. also yes, def make up tutorial please 👍

On the sound insulation question, l think a wall of books would be perfect. But then again l would as l own about thirty two thousand of the wee beasties, lining the walls, lining the skirting boards...... 😎 They provide wonderful sound absorbtion and each one a little universe to dive into.
