Well that was captivating, wasn't it? Her legs moved so quickly and sharply! Very good choreography that accentuated her legs amazingly well. The sultry mood was really captured here. Much improvement from her Samba, tonight! Would have liked to see a closer Latin hold (as in, less extended than they were most of the time) but otherwise, this was an amazing performance by Faye! 9.5!

Attention to detail. There is no apology from Faye in this dance. She lets herself go (in a good way), and executed those sharp hooks and kicks/flicks beautifully. Gio really showed off Faye’s assets (her legs and feet) really well in this dance. AT routines were generally disappointing in this series, but I think Faye and Gio finally did this dance justice. That being said, it lost 0.5 from me because I would like to see more A-frame from them (typical AT frame that gives the dance the flavour and tension). 9.5

Just what I expected from this dance. Dance technique 10, chemistry 0. They just don't seem to be able to generate it. Giovanni is busy smouldering away and Faye is... not. She's wonderful and I enjoyed watching her, but as a couple, they don't work. A dance which sizzled with a woman nearly twice his age was just ordinary this time. Not pedestrian by any means, but uninspiring - I would not want to watch it twice.

After all, she's happily married and so she appeared a little stiff as an over compensation. Also, it could be she's in a lot of pain from the AT related injuries thus that sour puss look. Lol

dajtoad1 , My theory is that it wouldn’t matter what dancer you paired Faye with there would still be that lack of chemistry. I suspect she is deliberately not committed to doing it out of respect for her husband, son and family. This show is littered with relationship car crashes and Faye has mentally put a barrier there to ensure nothing happens. But hey what do I know , I am a Saturday night armchair fan and you and SCD are much better judges on ability. I thought this dance was fantastic, and style of dance my favourite amongst all the others.

Mark Lewis you are probably right there Mark! It’s probably because her experiences. I think when she did this tango in Benalmadena she was struggling with getting over the divorce, doing things on her own and a hernia surgery that was caused by people not stitching her properly after her caesarean and finding out about the daughters. She was taunted by the neighbourhood and accused of causing car crashes which left her quite perplexed 🤔 she hadn’t been in or caused any car crashes. I think a relationship or dance partner was the last thing on her mind at the time. I think she was recovering and went away to get away from the negative people. She needed to prove it to herself she could cope on her own only to find people trying to trip her up whilst on holiday spiking her drink. She also wanted to socialise and be around people as she spent too much time alone. Thankfully Mary and Patrick were there trying to keep my morale from going down hill. What a shame they felt all the problems were because of her bad choices! Nobody could see the pain behind the posh dresses and the media thought She was wanting to swing from the chandelier which was something furthest from her mind and the truth of the situation that her kids were stolen from her! They all thought I threw them away. It’s been very emotionally painful learning about what was hidden. She only found out about the son a month ago when She met Shaun and couldn’t quite remember where she knew him from, then saw the son for the first time. It’s a horrible feeling that you need the love of your kids and it was taken from you without permission. It’s also a distressing situation being labelled a loose woman when you are the opposite and a prude and very saddening to hear about other people’s problems with having their food spiked and having car problems. I remember going to a coffee shop just before the birth of my daughter and suffering from drink spiking whilst pregnant. I can only think these car problems you described were probably caused by manufacturing issues. When She read the story of Leah She sat and cried. It’s probably why she was intimately distant from all men. She was looking for friendships. Best wishes Mark ✌️💤💁🏻

Dance disaster to dance triamph that was amazing loveoy slow and fast tempo for each step, the mood was just right, perfect leg action, great footwork, beautiful drama *10/10* might be better than Mark Ramperkash's AT

Sometimes Gio has a tendency to overshadow his partner (maybe not intentional but for me I've seen it happen a couple of times) but I LOVE how he just let Faye shhiiiinnne! Absolutely loved the choreography here. Gio knows how to showcase his woman in an AT- he did it so successfully with Debbie, I feel that I will forever be comparing his current partner(s) with her in the years to come. But WOW Faye is a tantalising seductress in her own right here- blending the severe with the soft. Her legs and gauchos are sharp as you like, and I totally agree with Bruno's comment- it was as if her leg action was conducting the orchestra. It was more than that even, it was as if her leg action was driving the whole dance which maybe relegated Gio to a supporting act. I just felt there could have been a few moments of body contact in parts to really intensify this even more. I also inevitably did not feel that this matched the seduction which we saw in Gio and Debbie's dance last year. 9.

I liked this and I loved that Giovanni showed Faye off, but a bit less leg flicks and more body contact dancing would have made this perfect. Also, I would have loved if Giovanni got to do more than be Faye’s support. I wanted to see a seduction take place. I loved last year’s with Debbie more.

AT generally doesn't have body contact like any typical ballroom routine, as it's not really a ballroom routine. The hold is normally more 'relaxed', A shape instead of V shape (ballroom hold the couples are joined at the hips, not in AT)...

Her ganchos were divine, the whole dance was technically, quite superb. Very sharp and very smooth, lovely, seamless transitions between the movements. However, what spoiled this magnificent routine for me was Faye's lack of passion. She wasn't 100% into the dance in terms of acting and portraying the character. As much as I loved it technically, it wasn't so good artistically. A 9.

Tricia K they did. The first dance was more like a Brazilian sam claydon dance with Katzerina frank and the second was ffion in the purple dress with Tina Brian. I thought she looked amazing. I think she cut her toe with the amount of dancing and the new shoes on. By the end of the night I think she was tired and her feet were really hurting. She seemed to be walking like a cripple with the balls of the feet very sore. That’s why she was looking so sad along with feeling old and like a granny dancing amongst the youngsters.

If Joe did it, it simply would not have been the same dance because he would be unable to do what Gio does here, making it look it incredibly simple. If you look at it with unbiased eyes, Gio is along way from just 'standing there'. And Lauren doing this dance? The very idea is ridiculous. Sorry, but Joe has been overmarked for weeks. Neither contender would be remotely capable of doing this dance.
