Hmmm. So Neha started her career in fashion where skinny is up on a pedestal. She willingly lost 5 kg in 15 days to enter Miss India, which shot her to fame. She sits on the Miss India panel, where only a slim contestant can win. And then she’s offended when a designer does not have an L / XL size for her??? I mean, she’s literally benefitted from, and continues to promote an industry that equates beauty to slim and slender. Now suddenly when at the receiving end of that same bias, it’s unfair???

Absolutely loved the conversation. Many a times as parents we not only have the responsibility of being a nurturer embedded in us but it is also about embedding the right values. And many a times in the journey of motherhood we tend to loose our own individuality. It is vital to remind ourselves that we are humans too
