Great review! I'm a vegan chef and my vegan sweet potato pie is my best seller, so I was curious to find out how it worked in haircare products. For me, I'm walking into 2023 not being a product junky. I'm keeping it simple and only using what works. I love Tabitha and I'm sure her products are wonderful, but I'm a creature of habit and I will never leave Mielle unless they start futzing around with their formulation. BINGO! I was just talking about this with a friend yesterday. This applies to celebrity skin care as well. But folks can/will spend they money how they see fit. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I get wanting to try something new but I don't think it's good to constantly be switching hair/skin products everytime a fav comes out with something new. Get a routine that works for your skin/hair and stick with it.

@Rachel Harrison 4c here 🙋🏽‍♀️ real 4c, not fake 4c. Super thick, coily and major shrinkage. Trust, water is much needed. One of my daughters also has my hair and same goes for her. If I have my hair in a puff, braids and any other style other than a blow out, I spray with water 2-3 times a week and add a leave to seal it + a pomade or bees wax on my ends. Changes the game if your goal is growth.

Thanks for your review! I feel similar to you but I loved the results with my wash n go. I used the cream styler and moose def and Chile my curls are juicy, shiny, and have hold. I just did it this morning and my hair is almost all dry. No flakes at all for me. I have 4c/4b thick hair. I will def be using the leave in and stylers EVERY wash day cause my hair loved them. Like you I will use the shampoo conditioner every other week. It feels and smells amazing tho. It's in my regular rotation now! 🥰🥰

I remember reading not too long ago, that in the hair care industry the term "moisturizing" or "moisture" means using a protein product. But for non-protein products the term is "hydration" or some ridiculousness like that. So now, I always check the ingredient list no matter what to make sure I'm using what I think I'm using. Looking for those sneaky protein ingredients. From the website, it looks like this conditioner also has the Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Silk.

I’ve tried a lot of different products over the years and what I’ve learned about my hair H20 is the best product ever . My hair loves water, curls pop. So hydration helps my hair. It’s a few products that really define my curl patterning really well.

Some people can't use too much protein. My daughter's hair is like that I had to twitch products. Too much protein makes her hair shed/fall out. I currently use Tahaji P. Henson products. It works great for my daughter's hair. For me I can use anything on my hair

Had me rollin at it feels good 😅and I have 4c hair and used to use stuff with coconut and hydrolyzed this and that and strengthening hair products and it did nothing for my hair and I learned my hair craved moisture not protein/strength bc it’s already strong it needs moisture and strong moisturized hair together is a recipe for growth. My hair is so happy when it’s packed with moisture. Thank you for this review

I know and read your disclaimer about not being a professional hairstylist and direct our hair questions to a licensed professional, but naw I've talked to many and not satisfied, but your natural HAIR 😍😍. I need to know exactly what you did to cure your alopecia because I'm over here struggling with it and it's really affecting me. Like my crown is thinning worse and worse like almost about to be bald where my hair can't cover it. My doctor is going to be looking into it, but I think it's hormonal. @latricet5569 have you tried incorporating zinc, iron pills, and vitamin d tablets? That helped with my patches caused by hormones and menopause. I am fully natural and all thinning have stopped and patches grew back. I do not have alopecia though.

@@lenorardful Thank you! I haven't tried Zinc. I use to take iron pills and take Vitamin D now. My hairstylist also told me to try Omega 3 because he helps my dry scalp issues which may slow down thinning even more.

Not at all! You can smell the cinnamon but the vanilla is kind of strong. And Treluxe (Untie The Knot) has a stronger smell than these products.
