Gisela....I wonder who Mariah is that the adopted daughter mentioned when speaking of cleaning the house ( 1:04:00 ). She seemed to cut the name short a bit and get a little nervous when she said it. The females in the house were her, London and Avantae (who I believe she also referred to as Ava). It also couldn't be one of the boys with that name as she specifically said the boys would be sleeping while they cleaned.

What bothers me, on top of what I've seen here today, is that hundreds of children RIGHT NOW are being treated horribly by adoptive parents, and no one is stepping in to save them. These stories will continue to be heard every week. Shameful.

Many times it's not just the foster/adoptive parents. It can also involve any biological children the "parental" figures have had previously. Adoptive families often "other" foster and adopted children in many ways and even do this subconsciously.

Nicole Finn, here in Iowa. Ran a pet rescue out of her home in Des Moines while starving her daughter to death in a locked room...with the window nailed shut because the poor girl was embarrassing Nicole by getting out and begging for food in the neighborhood. And then there was Michael Valva (one of New York's Finest!) and his equally vile fiancee, Angela Pollina...He cried crocodile tears on the stand and said he loved his son "with all his heart."

Yes I do. Exactly! I strongly believe that foster and adopted children should be obligatory enrolled in public schools and ongoing therapy at all times so at least one adult would have an eye on them and their daily habits outside the home. Homeschooling, while valid, should not be allowed at all for children who at any time were wards of state. The state literally just dumped them on their butcher's doorstep and washed their hands!

When I asked why they said I was non compliant with foster care. First of all there are 5 reasons for an EMERGENCY removal. One is SUBSTANTIAL NON COMPLIANCE AND THE CHILDS LIFE IS IN DANGER! Not only was I absolutely compliant, there was no emergency! She lied in order to get the judge to sign an emergency removal bypassing my right to speak to the judge, bypassing all policies, and bypassing everyone else above her who could have stopped it! When I asked where she was going they said it was confidential! She lied in order to take her and nobody could stop her!

Im a single parent and im allowed to foster but i work in the field in the UK and they looked into my entire life. If you want to adopt in the UK its nearly impossible. Friends of mine tried amd they had to give full access to their medical records, go for counceling together and apart, give up smoking, give access to all their finacials and they wanted to adopt a special needs child as her husbands brother was born so prematurely he is severly disabled and he has helped care for hom his entire life. Sadly their marrige didnt work out and she stopped the process which is so sad because she'd would make the most loving mother but she would have had to work and didnt think it was fair to the child as much as it broke her heart.

Not really. Once it gets to the point of adoption they're treated as though it's their own kids and there's no investigation until someone calls. I'm a cps worker in Canada and we have moved away from adoptions for this reason. We will seek long term orders so we can still have some oversight. We also are supposed to see the child once a month, alternating between with the caregiver and separate from caregiver but that's our policy, not sure what theirs is. Many people can be amazing up until adoption and there would be no red flags at that time. But once adoption goes through there's no oversight but we also don't pay once adoption goes through, they just collect the Canada child tax credit like everyone does with children, and it's not a whole lot.

It’s so upsetting to hear these stories. These children’s services entities remove children from their parent’s care just to have them be abused and starved when they were far better off in the home they started out in. Why would they allow the children to go for visits with the bio family if they’re so negligent?!?! Makes no sense! If it’s safe for them to go for visits then it’s safe for them to go home with their families as long as there’s a safety net in place. Most times the families just need some help and resources. That poor momma😢 Yikes that thing sure isn’t starving now is It?! I can’t imagine It coming after those poor babies😢 I have no doubt It will get precisely what It has coming, whether it be by the government or by another inmate. As an adopted person i find cases like this so hard. She needs to rot in jail until she dies and then burns in hell forevermore. Who cleared her as suitable to adopt vulnerable children? Yet another CPS failure. My son was born in '97 so shes not been seen for 17 years!!! This is awful.

Watching on replay but I wish all adopted children could be as fortunate as me. I was adopted at 3 by a family that already had 4 natural children. I knew nothing but love and acceptance by this family. Fortunately, most adopted children are in families like mine. Thanks for the coverage. Love your channel!

I dont understand why you get money if you adopt. In my country if you adopt , that means its now legally your child and you are responsible for all cost. As you are for children you have given birth to. You are not allowed to adopt if you struggling with money. You have to have more then just making it month to month. And you have to have a good support group around you. If children are home school they have to take a test 1 a year to prove that they are getting the education they shall have. All children are called in to dentist ones a year from they are around 4 to a public dentist near you. If you dont show up for the appointment a couple of the times they send a message of concern to cps

You can foster to adopt. Usually you could only be paid during foster process, and would stop once adopted...unless the child has special needs, teens, sibling groups. Basically as a "recognition" these kids would be harder to find prospective adoptive parents for.

I think as biological parents you can't just expect society to care for your kids when you fail at parenting. Your kids just won't mean as much to strangers, there will be predators. I believe the responsibility should be first and foremost with the biological parents. Without their neglect, the kids would not have been in a vulnerable position in the first place.

@aminahs9828 now that abortion is being banned in so many states these babies being born to people unable or unwilling to care for them properly will continue to rise. So many young mothers without adequate life and coping skills giving birth.

Im sorry but thats BS. Im adopted and i can assure you my birth mother 100% did the right thing for me as much as it broke her heart. I wasnt neglected until i was in the foster system and thankfully i was only there for a few mo ths before my parents adopted me. There are many, many different reasons why people choose adoption and the should not be judged or shamed for it. Its the biggest act of selfless love a mother can give her baby if she feels she cant care for her baby for whatever reason.

@@candydodson1283i ave a full brother whos 2 years older than me but my birth mothers father was brutal apparently so she kept a boy but gave up her daughter. Im sure you can read between the lines. She did ut to protect me. Theres more good adoption stories but you dont hear about those. In the UK you get mo ey to foster but not when you adopt. I think if that was the case in the states these cases may drop because if theyre doing it solely for money they wont adopt theyll foster and CPS should absolutely be checking on foster children on a regular basisu and you take the children aside and speak to them alone so if there are issues youbcan sort them there and then.

Doesn't the FBI get called immediately regarding a child going missing under suspicious circumstances? Or is that state to state? I was under the impression that every state country-wide assigns an endangered missing child's case over to the FBI as lead investigators immediately... regardless of their location potentially being moved across state lines.
@tenacaldwell7955
@tenacaldwell7955 Ай бұрын
Correction: maybe not immediately if it's pertaining to a certain close member/friend/identified suspect of the child/their family, though still immediately if the child is transferred over state lines.

A "Home School" isn't a school. It's a parent schooling children at home, registered with the municipality where they live, which means SHE HAD CHILDREN BEFORE SHE ADOPTED THESE ONES!!
@MKUltra42
@MKUltra42 Ай бұрын
It depends on where you live. I think it’s pretty uncommon for parents to have to register their “home school” with anyone. Homeschool lobbies are HUGE and have many republican friends in state legislatures and they fight tooth and nail against any kind of regulation. These days “unschooling” is a big thing. Kids get to be teenagers and still don’t know how to read or do basic math. It’s easier for these psycho parents to have complete control over their families when the kids can’t function in society.

Call Foster and adoptive parents it should be mandated to provide medical professionals sending in records monthly of a full exam not the doctor of choice either it should be a pool of medical professionals that are ordered to see children at certain time fee free

How in 2024 is this happening so much? These people are not being checked and vetted often enough. How can these kids be missing for that long without schools and social services, doctors, benefit agencies noticing? Massive failure and it doesn’t get better.
