Thanks for reminding me of Fayetteville. I remember it being a really pretty place. Brucies looks to be a great bar. I remember being in a bar there once, don’t know which one and England beat Germany 5-1 at football!! I love the old style of houses with the verandas - thanks for this video 🍻

Thank you for the informative video on Fayetteville, I m moving to Fayetteville by the end of this month but little bit confused about where to rent an apartment and what would be the cost. If possible, will you help me in this to get a good apartment in budget near university of arkansas?
@naturallynwahometeam3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I do not handle any rentals, and apartments are way outside of my expertise. The cost of apartments in NWA are all over the place, depending on the age and condition and what amenities are available. There are a lot of affordable options close to the university…I would check Lindsey Property Management to see what they have open.

I love Fayetteville. I lived there in 01-04 then from 07 to 2013. It's a great city to live in. I let my son ride the camel a few years back. It was good but it was $15 for them to walk him about a half a block. Dickson street is awesome. But most of all I used to love going to the razorback games. I used to live on rupple road off Weddington before it underwent the upgrade it had now. I was surrounded by fields at that time now its all city because of the constant growth.

The thing about Fayetteville is that everything is turning into new neighborhoods and apartments where every house looks exactly the same. It's expanding so much to the point where ten years from now the edges if town might be some of the largest areas in the city. You have to go way out for some peace and quiet. And the light pollution is bad so no stars for you.

@naturallynwahometeam3 жыл бұрын
I think you’d have a hard time escaping racism of any kind in any city in the US. That being said, I feel like NWA is very accepting of all races, especially Fayetteville and Bentonville

Eric, as always TOP NOTCH. Are there any highrise apartments or condos anywhere in NW Arkansas?
@naturallynwahometeam4 жыл бұрын
Fayetteville has a couple of “highrise” condo buildings. I guess it would depend on your definition of high rise...they’re probably no more than 12-15 floors, but they’re a lot taller than the other buildings around them and they are considered luxury condos

My family is planning to move to NWA within the next 6 months but unsure of our best fit. Can you point is in the right direction? We are looking for land preferable with a cave or natural spring on it. Must have access to internet. I want to be no more than 20 minutes from restaurants and stores too. We would be building a home from shopping containers as well. Are there any areas easier to approve them?
@naturallynwahometeam4 жыл бұрын
I would be happy to point you in the right direction. You will likely be at least 20 minutes from stores and shopping if you’re looking for land that has no building restrictions. And finding land with a cave or natural spring will be like finding a needle in a haystack. How much land are you hoping to find?

A few comments: (1) Originally I was planning to relocate to Fayetteville this coming spring and was looking at the Weddington Road area which is much more affordable than the areas you were showing, as is Farmington and Prairie Grove. I didn't think your video covered those less expensive options, which are only minutes away from the areas you were showing (unless it is a football home game day), so you can get a newer house for less money and still be close to the action. I fit better politically with the cities north of Fayetteville, so will going there instead but will still be close enough to enjoy all the things you mentioned, such as Razorback sports & the farmers market, when it cranks up again. I have a realtor I am working with and cannot wait to make the move! (2) I know the exact spot you are talking about - coming over the hill and seeing the Fayetteville skyline. The scenery coming up the interstate is very nice but empty so you have nothing, nothing, nothing and you go over a hill and suddenly there is Fayetteville. (3) The other plus for the area, and this works for the other NWA cities as well, is that Fayetteville benefits from amenities in other cities such as the Naturals baseball park, Beaver Lake, Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, etc. In some ways it makes more sense to look at the area as one big city, even though each city has it's own "personality" and different demographics.
@naturallynwahometeam4 жыл бұрын
Very good points! There aren’t enough entertainment options on the west side of Fayetteville, or Farmington/PG for me to do a video specifically for those areas at this point. Those areas are growing though, so that could change in the future. You should drop your current agent and work with me, unless you’ve already signed an agency agreement. I can get you a better deal (not just on the price of the home, but on services before, during and after the sale). Hit me up!
@spiderjerusalem41524 жыл бұрын
What are these different demographics you're speaking of? We're looking into this area, coming from the Houston area. We like "the city", but would like to have some breathing room. I don't want to end up in a sort of, "boring" area of retirees or anything, plus I ride a motorcycle so don't want to annoy easily angered people with the noise and such. Basically just trying to find a casual, laid back fitting area.

@stephanledford97924 жыл бұрын
@@spiderjerusalem4152 Springdale has a very high Hispanic population + a lot of natives from the Marshall Islands. This gets reflected in the mix of restaurants, etc. Fayetteville is a college town, Bentonville is mostly White with the #2 demographic being Asian (India mostly), Bella Vista started off as a retirement community that was discovered by families looking for better values in housing so it has an older average population (but getting younger every day) and resort type amenities like multiple lakes and golf courses. All of these cities are wonderful and you almost can ignore city limits. You might end up living in one city, buying groceries in another, going to church in a still different city and eating at a restaurant in still another. Want lake view property? Bella Vista or Rogers (and maybe Lowell). Mountains? That would be Bella Vista. Gravette/ Gentry / Cave Springs / Prairie Grove are all growing but still small towns close to everything. I would suggest making a few trips up to the area, spend a few days and get the feel for each area.
@stephanledford97924 жыл бұрын
@@spiderjerusalem4152 Let me add to my previous comments. Years ago I was working a high stress job with lots of travel and needed a break, so I took a week long cruise in the Caribbean. I mentally played with the idea of "retiring" on a tropical Island and spending the rest of my life walking barefoot on the beach and collecting shells, but after a week I realized that this would be awesome for about a week then I would be bored out of my head. If you are coming from Houston then I would suggest renting for 6 months to make sure you are not making a "tropical island" decision that you will later regret. I grew up in Arkansas so am used to the pace of life here but I recognize that for some people (hopefully most) this is exactly what they are looking for, but for others used to a faster pace this could be a mistake.

@naturallynwahometeam4 жыл бұрын
There is a drive-through Safari park in Gentry, AR, which is about 20 minutes west of Bentonville. There is a Tiger/big cat rescue called Turpentine Creek in Eureka Springs, just 45 minutes east of Rogers. There is a Zoo in Tulsa which is less than 2 hours away. And there is plenty of natural wildlife all over NWA.

Fayetteville has a zoo... Its called Dickson st on a Friday night. Just sit back and watch you will see how fast it turns into a zoo.
