The Joy of Creation, one of the most popular fangames that not only did free roaming gameplay, it also integrated the FNaF-styled defense mechanisms in it; and Tealerland, a game with completely new mechanics for the genre, where you build a robot and use it to lure the roaming threats into containment. Not to mention they have stellar visuals, especially Tealerland, which has brand new characters and designs, rendered beautifully.

this game was really really good. i really enjoyed playing it and getting all the mechanics figured out felt very rewarding. night 6 was frustrating at first but rewarding once i finished it. 8/20 mode was REALLY difficult, but very fun and extremely satisfying to finish

Care to explain what spring Bonnie and Fredbear do on night 6? I’ve got no clue to be honest.

@@ninja6245-real Alright, I can tell you. It’s quite a challenge to figure these two out but once you do, it’s easy. Fredbear acts like Bonnie, and if he appears in CAM 7-put the mask on ASAP. He will not kill you and retreat to CAM 2. He will also attack a camera. You will know it’s him when you hear a hollow noise and thumping on a camera. Find the camera with the error, go into the FazStat maintenance panel, click the electricity icon, then click the corresponding camera he’s attacking. He’ll get buzzed and move to CAM 2. Spring Bonnie is the more difficult element to predict. He functions by using the vent like Chica does, but you’ll want to look out for him in CAM 9. Once he appears, he will play a game of chicken with you to close the vent door in your office before he comes. You’ll know he’s coming by thumping noises in the vents. Once you hear the loud thump from the vent, he’s gone. He will also, like Fredbear, attack cameras. His sound cue is what sounds like a laser gun firing followed by banging. You deal with him like Fredbear by using the panel to shock the room he’s in. However, Spring Bonnie has one more trick that makes him super annoying to deal with. If you hear what sounds like a printer printing a document DO NOT flip your camera down. Treat it as if it’s background noise. When you hear metallic banging from the left side, that is a sign he’s gone. Spring Bonnie never returns to CAM 2 unless you shock him from attacking the cameras, so you have less time to deal with his schemes. Night 6 seems hard, but it’s actually quite easy once you learn the cues. I do recommend lowering or turning off the game music, as it’s insanely hard to hear the soundcues over the soundtrack for this night. Hopefully this can help you out!

I love how this game still has the same mechanics, animatronics, ambience, fear factor, and all that stuff, but it looks more polished. Like more time was taken with it. I know Fnaf 2 was created like 6+ years ago now, but the animations of the animatronics are so much smoother. The buttons look simplistic, yet better. I think the transitions of pulling the Freddy mask down, and Bonnie or anything else popping out of the vents are so much smoother, rather than them just appearing right in front of you, or the mask just almost instantly covering your face. The game itself actually looks more 3D than nearly every original game. Like I said, I know that those games were made many more years before this, but I still like how much better this game looks.

Part of that is because the original games were made in Clickteam Fusion, which is fundamentally a 2D game engine. Scott faked 3D by using some cylinder distortion on the office (which, if you didn't notice before, go back and watch some footage of the first two games, it's obvious once you see it). Additionally, all of the animatronics in the original games (and a lot of the early fan games like FNAC) were just transparrent still PNGs getting overlaid on top of the main office / camera scene (minus jumpscares, those were obviously animated clips), and were usually laid out so that multiple could be put on top of each other and not look too weird, because you're effectively stacking layers in photoshop here. This one (and, fun fact that I don't think is that unknown, ONAR too) seem to have been built in actual 3D engines, allowing for true depth, and were given character animations, which is much easier to be convincing with if you're working in 3D space, making something animate in 2D only is possible but it's tricky (go to FNAF 1, and pull the animation of Foxy running across the cam at 50% speed. If you had time to look and analyze, it's not the *best.*)

that's one of the reasons why from the original 4 games (and from the entire franchise tbh) fnaf 4 is my favorite. the ambience just makes up for so much of the lack of actual 3d in there that you feel immersed enough to feel everything around you is 3d.

I really just love how the player character is a guard who is actually hired to act as a guard. The tampering that has been going on is a motivation to get a new hire into a dangerous position. On the first night I was already more invested than I was at any point in FNAF 2, SL, or the later games.

This is an interesting fan game with just the toy animatronics and a heavy left field twist during the sixth night. The jump scare extras is neat as I was expecting it to come, I enjoyed the jump scare however the puppet seems wonky towards the end. The bite of eighty-seven was a good little Easter Egg. The phone guy is a little on the nose with the explanation; doesn't really leave anything up to the imagination. But I really dig the subtle character design and quiet atmosphere. Too many predecessors, both fan and official, went absolutely bombastic in those departments.

Having a character like Henry sharing information directly about what's going on just feels nice for a change. Everyone always tries to make the phone guy of their game vague and sometimes that leads to them being completely useless. It lets the game be much easier to play on the player's behalf, and lets the creator not have to worry about screwing things up and not giving the player enough information. Sure, a FNAF 1 quality phone guy is always best, but not everyone can make that, so sidestepping the problem is better in that case.

This game is a great take on the original formula. Obviously heavily inspired by 2, but i think it does some interesting things to change the gameplay. While its still a horror game, this game focuses on what made fnaf so prevalent after the fear wore off which was the gameplay loop. The only main problem the firdt two games had was when the power went out, that was it. Having that stage of 'the powers out, but now the game is just harder' adds a lot to me. Makes it scarier when you do lose power, and makes your deaths feel more earned and less based on 'meh i got fucked by rng'. Not to mention the quality of the visuals, which are stunning and blow some of the original games out of the water imo

1) For checking how much energy you have left, and the state of any vents, in case they have been broken by Mangle. So not terribly useful. 2) Spring Bonnie will approach CAM 5 and can do two things: Either he will continue to CAM 8, then quickly enter the vent to jumpscare you (so close it, obviously), or he will pass through your office, which requires to keep the monitor up for the entire duration (so after the lights stop flickering). Occasionally he will also attempt to disable a Camera, (indicated by a sound effect and his face covering it) so use a controlled shock at the right camera to interrupt him) Fredbear will approach CAM 7 and enter your office (indicated by a specific sound effect), wear the mask to take care of him. He will also attempt to drain power from your supply (indicated a camera being covered by a warning text), use a controlled shock at the correct camera to interrupt him. For both, using the flashlight is useless, as you can watch them with the camera for the most time, while using audio cues to guess the right move to do.

Power and to see if any of your vents are broken. Henry comes and destroys the Toys, Fredbear and Springbonnie come to attack. Fredbear has a couple of ways to attack you, his main way is to go to the left vent and try to get to you. He will not be visible in the left vent in your office but instead is visible in Cam 07. The other way is to mess with the power in which one of the camera will be out with a message, if this happens, go to your control panel and flick to the shock button and shock the corresponding camera he's in. Springbonnie has 3 ways to attack, his first way is to come into your office directly, if you hear a printer like sound while in the cameras. DO NOT PULL YOUR CAMERAS DOWN. If you want to get a quick jumpscare then sure, pull it down. But if you still have the cameras pulled up then Springbonnie should leave after a couple of seconds and with him leaving to the left. Another way is Cam 08, in that, he can get to the vent above you. Once you hear him get in, shut it immediately, he isn't like Chica where you can see her, he will kill you instantly if that vent isn't shut. Finally, he can do the same thing as Fredbear's last thing but instead of affecting your power, he can shut the camera off in that room which wouldn't be so bad if Fredbear couldn't also use that room to try and shut down your power so shock Springbonnie when he's trying to break the cam as indicated by his face being the only thing visible in the camera.

1. You can watch the time by checking the control panel 2. Fredbear, like Toy Bonnie, comes from the left. If you hear whirring sound, put your mask on. Spring Bonnie comes from cam 8 to the vent above you. He also can go through your office, when you hear radio sound, let him pass, don't put down the tablet or control panel. They both can hack your cameras, so use shock in the control panel to the corresponding camera.

This game is really well made, and I had fun playing it, but it felt waayyy too easy. The mechanics were simple, and I never ran out of power. I died just a couple times, and that was on night 6 trying to figure out how the new mechanics worked. The game was never really scary, and the atmopshere was kind of lacking. Overall, 6/10, carried by the rather enjoyable gameplay, but lacked in difficulty and the scare factor.

Very polished and cool fnaf fangame. Though the music at night 6 seems just odd and out of place after such a creepy setup. Silence and ambient would have been much better.

I’m pretty sure there is supposed to be a lore reason for that. And besides all FNAF games have some sort of “music” in them underneath the ambiance. No music in a game makes it feel unpolished rather than creepy in most cases. A good example of that is a monster in monster Hunter rise, the devs didn’t give it any music to be creepy but it ended up feeling boring

chipper and sons co. was an older game scott made, characters looked animatronic-like as stated in the reviews, scott went into a depression state and thought "hey why dont i make a funny little horror game?" and thats what brought the fnaf series to life

I think that William tried to ambush Henry while he is disassembling animatronics which ended with Afton really killing him after all of that Spring trap with his repaired Fredbear are looking for the last one in the building player
