@@alex_ha2803 Yeah Maruki changes the actual reality. Getting stuck inside a book world isn't the same thing. More just wants to run away instead of trying to fix things. Protag's friends are still suffering in their world.

I would like to elaborate more: The "real world of the players" is technically the "old world" within Metaphor's worldview, so you can say that More is just trying to bring the MC to somewhere else to leave behind Louis's mess. More thinks the old world without "tribes" was a perfect utopia, but that clearly is not true. (Our real world is full of brutal conflicts stems from tribalism despite all of us being the same humankind.) More's delusion of the old world is clearly by-design. And this can be interpreted as the reason why he (falsely) believes their miserable world is only a fiction of the real (old) world.

I actually did theorise there is a moment where the characters go to the real world/ the world of the novel. But id imagined it to be like "oh they did ww2, oh they did slavery and oh we are own by Atlus" ans then they peaced out.

The last part of the game (last 30 days) is really the worst part, it becomes stressful, you want to rush the ending but the game take it too slow, and somehow kills the emotions. On the other hand, this story was so good it really felt like a fable, and i felt like a little kid.

I agree, the game wants you to grind but you aren't going to, because you want to see the ending, and then you realize you're underleveled

Yeah the game gave way too much extra time, they should have cut it down or added one more bond, probably over corrected since the Persona games (P3, P4 and vanilla P5) were really tight timewise to finish all social links before the end of the game, P5R hit the perfect balance.

@@eugiblisscast i suppose the issue comes from the fact that after many hours, since it's a story driven game, you want to see the plot and ignore the battles, but this Is an issue only for those that get tired of the gameplay. If you don't get tired, then probably you Will take things slow, farm more, you won't avoid mobs and create strategies, for many, like for me, this gets boring after 50 hours, knowing that it won't matter that much anymore, cuz you are near the end. But the games will punish for that, and when you are right in the end you can't simply go back because you must face louis or you won't have many days to farm before the final battle. This Is not like Pokemon, where if you fail you retry, you get exp, retry and so on, if you get stuck you can only change difficulty (that's what i did After playing the game in hard mode) and it sucks, i didn't want to, but It was impossible and surely i would not play everything again for 80 hours only for the final battle. You might say "well it's still your problem, it's Simply because you failed" and you might be right, probably i should have got a bad ending because i could not face Louis, but a game should not "punish" the player for not playing enough. So it's still a game problem, they should change things a little bit. Plus, the most frustrating thing is that you get companions way too late, like persona 5. Atlus should Simply learn that it's better to avoid that, i want my full party asap, i want to manage them from the early game, classes and characters, that's how RPG work

They were regular people who got taken over by melancholia, which caused their inner magla to go completely out of control, transforming them into monsters. Louis mastered the ability to transform anyone into a human on a whim.

These endings are interesting, but at the same time poorly made. I go back to Persona 4 bad endings and even some of the SMT old games, where we actually see the consequences of the bad endings and how the characters feel hopeless and despair by making the wrong decision.

tho it makes sense that we don't see what happened next in the bad endings whichever bad ending you end up on, the outcome is the same. the Kingdom is no more, and the land is roamed by Human monsters. No one left survived is there to entail the history.
