Everyone's going over the radio, but nobody's mentioned the fact the kids just drop the bombshell that Na'el is both aware of and can play Xenoblade 1 and 2's OSTs on a classic piano. Either a fourth wall break, or Na'el literally composed the music of Xenoblade in-universe. As if Engage The Enemy wasn't already mortifying enough whenever it plays!

We know from interacting with the piano in Elysium’s church that the Zekenator is an amateur pianist. He alludes to having composed a symphony. I’m guessing the Zekenator wrote “Bringer of Chaos! Ultimate” and the music was passed down to Na’el. This also makes the Archsage’s “giant monkey playing electric guitar” line from 2 funnier and possibly lore or something.

So basically, by the end, everything is ok. Alpha had been transcribing people into Origin's memory just as was done to the original peoples of both worlds. This is why when they die, they become motes of light instead of leaving a corpse. It has nothing to do with everyone being Ether. Homecoming was simply the same, it would take you from being in the original partition and being put into the City people's partition, this is why you couldn't come back after Homecoming, because Z didn't have access to this partition. Logos and Pneuma's cores still exist, though Logos' was badly damaged, it could still be forged into a weapon and this became the Sword of the End. Pneuma's core was made into the Fists of the End, or the Ouroboros Gauntlets. This is why Nia's core reacts with Origin metal to create the Ouroboros stone, because of the connection she shares emotionally with Pyra and Mythra as the wives of Rex. Logos and Pneuma's input is what Ontos uses to form it's instructions and if Logos and Pneuma can't agree, then Ontos won't do anything. When Logos and Pneuma were gone, Ontos went out of control and tried to form its own input. During the final fight, N and Matthew awakened as Logos and Pneuma emulators, they voted to let the world continue and for Ontos to stop. Ontos shuts down and Origin crashes into Colony 9, creating the Great Sea. With N and Matthew enemies, the two cores can no longer agree and are at a stalemate again. It takes until Noah merges with N to be able to out vote Ontos on what to do with the world. Noah, in his desperation to see Mio again, wants the worlds to become one. The two worlds are recreated as Origin was meant to do and then are merged together. When Noah hears the song being played, he isn't imagaining it, it is really Mio.

It's not Xenosaga. That's too large of a lore and complex context to incorporate into Xenoblade. Combining both would be far too much for a modern audience to adapt to. It would make Kingdom Hearts look like a picture book. Not to mention the ongoing battle for legal rights on the back end. Also, on Dimitri, it's just an Easter egg/reused named. Because here they mention this Dimitri is a part of the Minos Authority, which is a group that does not exist in Xenosaga. Lastly, they talk about Project Exodus, the ECP, and debates on human rights. All 3 are major elements and plot points of Xenoblade X. The blue light coming down to "earth" is most likely Elma making first contact.

Some sort of timeline can be established when she mentions the Saviorites. They were the ones who attacked the Rhadamanthys in XC2, but in that vision world, it seems none of that happened, so I'm going to assume that this vision takes place years later in the same world that is formed at the end. The major assumption here is that the worlds re-merged at the same point when they were torn apart, but this time with Origin, they have changed their future, and Elma came to the planet right after. But it's all just a guess lol

I see they're trying to tie X and Xenosaga into this. I haven't played either so I can't say I'm particularly intrigued by what comes next. What I wanted was a happy ending for the characters from 1 and 2, which from the looks of it they got but we saw none of it. This truly feels like the send off to these characters and I wish we got to see them all together one last time, whether it was in a cinematic or a picture. Shame, I'll miss them.

@@tomizu5 the post credits clip seems to indicate that origin’s original plan was a success and managed to merge the two worlds safely. If you watch the post credits clips of both Xeno 3 and Future Redeemed the flute that catches Noah’s attention starts playing at the exact same time the worlds fuse back to one. It seems that the one playing the flute was Mio and they were able to safely reunite.

It was... interesting, thank you for the upload. It was great to see Rex and Shulk again, plus it was very interesting to see Shulk take on the role of a mentor like Dunban, even wielding his blade in his left hand. I dunno what to make of the plot, all things considered. Easy to label it as convoluted, abstract, and loaded with a very large cast. I know that many would disagree out of loyalty to the Xenoblade brand, but I'd rather approach the narrative as it is... All of the conflicts between Mobius and Ouroboros and now Alpha as a triple melee... was there really a point to it all? Aside from waxing poetic about the good old days being disrupted by the bastard human cliche?

I think the problem I have with it is that it’s too focused on shulk and Rex, and it’s a prequel. Everyone was hoping that we would get to see something more substantial with shulk and Rex, but you could have actually replaced them and almost nothing would have changed. It’s just fan-service that seems to not have accomplished much. Same with their kids honestly, they add nothing to the plot except for the audience to point at, which is fine, but I just wish we got something more.

I figured that monolith soft were going to explain the XC3 statues and why there was one with long hair and one with visible goggles when either one of them could have been Shulk, and this prequel stuff definitely explains that... But the overall narrative was average at best, and it really feels like the developers are just going to keep bringing up the fact that Klaus was one arrogant person who screwed up an entire universe, given that it's the unifying thread behind three Xenoblade titles with very little new to say about it.

Okay I'm at 3:22:00 and I have some theories: Spoilers! (obviously) 1. The Nature of Ontos, Alvis, Alpha and A It is said that strong emotions make Alpha stronger and this is why he chose Na'el, because of her strong emotions. A outright states: "Her emotions are heighteded. They're feeding straight into Alpha's power." (3:00:08). But why would this be? Well we know that "Without [Logos and Pneuma] present, Ontos was just a machine" (2:36:56) and that the reason Alvis was more than that is because "He was shaped by Klaus and shouldered the man's regret" so that when Klaus no longer existed he became a machine again. It is therefore likely to assume that when Ontos exists only as a machine, he possesses far less power. All of this to me implies that A could provide Alpha with the emotions he needs however Na'el, with her stronger emotions is far more useful. 2. Riku Okay this one is just pure conjecture but at 3:21:48 Nikol states that he and Riku are "kind of on a similar wavelength". What if Riku is one of Riki's kids and the reason he's so into machines is because he and Shulk are close (as sort-of siblings). This would make him Nikol's uncle and would be the reason they get along so well. It doesn't at all answer how he would be over a thousand years old in base-game 3 but my next theory gets into that. 3. When Did the First Altercation With Alpha Take Place Really? Okay, this is a bit of a stretch but bare with me for a moment. I can't help but notice that Shulk, Rex and others such as Panacea and Riku don't seem to be a part of the cycle at all. They have all their memories and seem to be the same age they would be before Aionios (Shulk and Rex at least). This would then suggest that when Aionios was created, some people (a list including Melia and Nia) were not immediately put into the cycle and were instead just plopped straight into the new world. This would make it so that the first battle against Alpha took place shortly after Aionios' creation. The big problem with this is that it's been at least 70 years since then and Shulk and Rex certainly don't look as old as they should in that case. I have two solutions for this: - Some force such as Ontos or Z is preventing them from aging, or - The timelessness of Aionios itself prevents them from aging I feel like the latter may be more likely. Well, there you have it. I'm quite impressed with how large this ended up being but I'm feeling quite proud of it. I managed to come up with some sort of solution to the greatest question: What on earth is up with Riku, common variety nopon? (Also please don't give any spoilers until I've finished watching this. I'll say when I'm ready) Edit: I've finished now!

The Sword that N has is in fact Logos or has the core crystal from him in it and that's how they were able to defeat Alpha. And A is the real Alvis from the first Xenoblade game

At the end when they were fighting Alpha, you see Pnuema's core crystal in Matthew's gauntlets, and extending from that Logos (or Malos) core crystal is probably in N's sword. Rex and Linkle do indirectly mention Pyra and Mythra a few times in sidequests, in the main story (especially when it comes to Glimmer).

So all three of the trinity processors had to revert back to their crystal forms for the sake of Origin aka Ark (Logos and Pneuma in Alrest, Ontos in Bionis). I’m guessing no one was allowed to reawaken Logos because Malos would be back (probably with his memories too because Aegis powers) so that goal was easy. Since Pyra and Mythra share the Pneuma form, they must’ve had to fuse back into her and then settle. That must’ve been so hard on Rex, meanwhile Shulk just finds Ontos in the sand!

Same here. It felt a bit short on the story department, didn't really answer the questions 3 left. It did however explain the ending of X. Spoilers The two worlds merged to form Mira. Origin can store human souls, so this explains how the humans managed to survive in Mira, even though the central computer containing their consciousness was destroyed. In addition, in the cutscene where the radio plays, they clearly mention Project Exodus and the Coalition. The light entering the atmosphere of the planet at the post-credit scene is definitely the White Whale from X.
