What I've observed so far is, Hazan is indeed protesting too much, and that's not only because she finds it insulting, but mostly because somewhere in her unconscious the thought of her feeling something more than just what friendship requires exists. Remember the time when Kerime tried telling her that the Elder one's eyes are not empty for her, how awkwardly and hesitantly she responded? The reason why she reacts so eagerly and aggressively to this question is her own way of preventing any of those thoughts occur in her conscious. Yes, she is yet not aware of the deep feelings which she has developed for Yağız, since it's only in her unconscious, but she does get a sudden feeling time to time that bothers her; she doesn't detect or decode it (reason why she still isn't aware of her feelings yet) but keeps holding on to that pipe dream, unconsciously conflicting with her own self to make it look like real (hence it does seem real to her). And the fact that it's universal how not even a single human being is honest to themselves. Everybody is hiding something from themselves... things which are beyond acceptance and dark in reality. Hazan is going through the same.

@@marvimansoor5300 Great observation. I've only seen it twice. But this is the best couple I have ever seen. Their love is better than anything I've ever seen including Hollywood movies and series. I actually don't feel like watching anything else after Hazan and Yagiz. This show helped me understand the difference between true love and a crush or infatuation

And just to ad when I saw it for the second time I realised that Yagiz was always mad at Sinan for bringing Fazilet's and her daughters in their space because he was trying to avoid what he was developing for Hazan. Notice how mad he got when the house was flooded and he saw topless Sinan with Hazan. My guy was so mad. I think he started feeling something for Hazan the day she threw the money back to his face. I first thought he felt guilty after Erdal tells him who and how she is but it's more than that. Notice how keeps looking at her shoes. He starts helping with Ece and with the lawyer. But he holds onto the things Sinan said about Hazan. When all Sinan's lies are cleared that very night he couldn't hold back what he was already feeling. Him removing hair from her face and washing her face. I can go on and on. I just love them 😂😂

Fazilet grew Ece in such a way to manipulate and control her she never allowed the girl to think for herself. So why is she surprised when Yasmine is now controlling her smh. Ece is a very naive little girl and needs to wake up hopefully, she learns that Yasmine isn't her friend.

This drama depicts a very familiar situation when men are right no matter what they do. Hazim Bey could have found a solution to bring the lovers together, then to marry Ece himself. Similarly Yagiz has no sympathy for his sister Selin when himself falling in love with the brother's girl friend who comes from the same neighborhood in which Selin marries. So, father and son can do anything and it is considered normal, but daughter is not allowed. Similarly, Hazan, the elder sister of Ece, who has been shown as a thinking person, in the end she seems to be also playing foolishly: she did not want to come back to Sinam but then minded very much when Sinan found out that she is in love with Yaghiz.
