Even after hearing the problems. I'm still very tempted to re-do my CBT and buy this bike! Although I would do some precautionary mods like upgrading the chain / sprocket to begin with, and probably re-locate the main fuse to under the seat as I hear they blow every now and again. Still. Love the looks of this thing.

I was literally sold on this beautiful bike and was going to order one next week, and although there are people who had no problems, there are enough people reporting problems that I'm staying well clear of this one. Love the looks and good performance too, but just too high a risk of hassles. I'll go Honda CBR125R instead, it's a similar price and performance, sadly nowhere near as good looking, but what use are the looks if I'm always arguing with a dealer?

I've had mine for 7 months, i purchased it with a non working rear brake but took it to my local bike mechanic and he completely surpassed the 75-25 system and its been great since. Saying that i have experienced the same problem with the Neutral indicator on the dash, and my chain recently snapped it got so loose! A beautiful bike unfortunately plagued by cheap corner cutting by the Chinese manufacturers. But i still love it.

You might recall a while back I commented on your review of the bike. My wife used to own this bike. She dropped it while stationary and it was deemed a write off. Apparently the fall bent the foot peg which in turn bent the frame on which the foot peg/brake pedal was mounted. Fortunately the insurers paid out and we got her something else. I was subsequently told by the dealer where we bought the bike that the UK distributor of the bike was useless for providing parts for repairs, so we were better off getting an insurance pay out. I would NEVER recommend this bike to an experienced rider talk less of a beginner rider. It’s a perfect example of style over substance.

Had the same Problem with my brake. It only keeps working if you use the backbrake as much as possible. If you dont use it it catches air. Also had a crash but because of some attachments i made only the shiftlever broke but i build one myself. About shifting : Sometimes the Neutral control light was on but i was in 2nd gear. only happened when i standed still. I got a overvoltagekiller installed so now the dashboard stopped reseting and my front light lives longer.

Fellow mondial rider here. I’ve been looking for some pannier bags, does anyone have any recommendations? It’s a bit of a pain because of the exhaust placement. Any ideas? Comment below
@motorsforthemasses
@motorsforthemasses 4 жыл бұрын
There is a guy on the Mondial Facebook page that has them but I'm sure he changed his exhaust for a GPR one. Perhaps join that and post a question. I am sure someone will pop up with a suggestion.
@NeetBandana
@NeetBandana 6 жыл бұрын
What was the timeline on this Mark? Did the exhaust bracket fail AFTER the fall? Rear brake will probably be some air in the CBS distribution valve. I think the rear brake light works off a pressure switch on the rear master cylinder so that would explain no rear brake light when rear lever operated too. EM light will also come on if the headlight fails. If it is not the bulb then I would suggest taking the switch apart on the bars and checking the contacts for corrosion or wear. Once again, we don't know if this failure happened after the fall, in which case the switch may have been damaged from impact. Even the most beautiful lady has her faults.... glad to hear she is back in the fold though and look forward to seeing what you come up with!

These aren't just faults, these are death traps.
@motorsforthemasses
@motorsforthemasses 6 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes, the exhaust did come loose after the fall. The fall was a slow speed spill at a roundabout. So, it could possibly be as a result of that, but did not actually come into contact with anything, so means if it was as a result of that, it would have just been a bump, or jolt that caused it...which is pretty poor. You are right, a pressure switch works the lights on the cylinder. The light issue is being investigated by the dealer and I will update you on that.

@@Lhawk2107 YOU really cannot put Honda and these Chinese replicas in the same boat yeah Honda had teething problems but they were inventing.investing developing not making cheap copies just for the money..And some of those bikes still drive, without constant attention or customisation this one ain't going to last another few years.. Don't get me wrong I really like this channel but honest is honest not only is the bike shit. A take on Norton triumph etc a very cheap copy and very dangerous...

Yes, but no doubt so are most of the products you own, so I don't think it is a relevant argument if that is what you are implying.

@@TOTk1980 believe me most of the products I own are not Chinese my bike is 25years old and nothing is falling off.. my tools are German or Swiss of course I own Chinese stuff but that is the throw away cheap shit.. So yes that is what I am getting at.. Very presumptuous to think that. And with a relatively new bike all these problems dash exhaust brakes switches....... Not acceptable... Brakes very serious exhaust burning fuel filter no lights. HOW CAN YOU DEFEND THIS..
