Perfect timing for me. I finished entering in my first 30 items into the shipping plan this morning then watched this video and completed the shipment and labeled the box. So helpful to have a step by step video to watch. The FBA gods were good to me all 30 items went to one location (VA) and I'm in AZ. Getting that first shipment out the door is a relief and the next one will be easier and faster.

I'm using Label Resizer. It has also a chrome extension. With the extension I am printing my fba labels with one click only. It is putting a button near "Print Labels..." on seller central page. When you click on button it resizes your fba labels according to your thermal printer label size. I save a lot of time.

I learned that the individual item labels were printed from the Amazon Seller Central page. But where did the two box labels get printed? You answered that. Right from that same page. It's maddening details like this that drive one nuts.

My very first shipment to FBA I used 30-up labels and was SO ANNOYED at trying to find the right label for the right item.I was sending in 160 VHS tapes and it was label chaos! I got myself a Dymo immediately afterward and now label items one at a time when I create my shipping plan. My used Dymo 450 came from Ebay for less than $50 and absolutely love it. PS: I have the same Brother printer.

OMG 9 months after getting approved for fba I JUST NOW sent in my first shipment. Three used books, which I'll probably just break even or possibly lose money on, but I just wanted to do it. OnlineLabels.com pricing was a bit high for the 30 sheet address labels for FBA, about $45 for 500. I actually found 1,000 pack at Staples (still the 1" x 2-5/8") for just about $13. Don't quickly dismiss your local office supply store, Office Depot, etc.

+Shane Layton Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to reuse the sheet, unless maybe you spin it around the other direction. For this reason, I seem to always be shooting for shipments that contain multiples of 30 items (60, 90, 120).

Alyssa I’m new to the whole book selling on fba thing. I’ve spent a ton of money trying to get my business started and I’m starting to get discouraged looking at all the expenses. I don’t see how it makes sense to buy these books and make a dollar or two per book when you have to pay for shipping, labeling, and investing time and gas to find these books. How does this business turn a profit that makes sense to keep doing?

Hi Alissa, I am shipping a plastic salad bowl to Amazon for FBA service. It does not come with any packaging and I have the barcode right on the bowl. Do I need to put it in a Poly Bag or can I ship it without any packaging per bowl? Note I will be shipping about 10 bowls per box, as they can stack on top of each other, so prefer no packaging, or minimal packaging like a Poly Bag if possible.

+Richardo Cobourne I would definitely pack up anything delicate or breakable so that it's safe in transit and when it gets moved around the warehouse, but Amazon will provide their own shipping package when they ship to customers.

You'll have to figured that out for yourself ;-) 2) It will depend on where you live what sort of licensing or permits are required. Here, I can run my business as a sole proprietorship without the need for a license or permit.

I'm not sure what the issue is. Could it be that somewhere you selected that you wanted to have Amazon label them or opted for comingled (unlabled) items? There are certain items that Amazon requires you to label yourself so that could be why those 9 are the only ones printing. Not sure, though so might see if Amazon customer service can help.
