@@niles8102Basically the hype of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got them deciding “hmmm, what ELSE can we sell toys of that are similar in style?” And then SWAT Katz, Street Sharks, Disney’s Mighty Ducks (the only thing that has in common with the live action movie is the ducks play ice hockey), Biker Mice from Mars pretty much came to be. And then the UK made a show that sort of parodied the concept with the Avenger Penguins (they do fight bad guys, but everyone in that show is a colossal dork except Bella who runs the diner).
