Because that's what will run on the nightly news outlets tonight. They will present it as he is lying, and she is calling him out. If she doesn't do it, they can't run it! Here we have an evil Dem actually facing a true whistleblower, and she ignores his testimony. She even attacks *him* for the *committee majority* not providing his info before his testimony. This Dem has twisted logic. Just because she didn't get his info beforehand doesn't mean his testimony is false or should be ignored. I remember when the Dems previously held hearings, they made up lies out of whole cloth, and never gave their sources, which never faced any direct questions by Republicans or Independents. The Dems claimed their fake info as valid testimony, and refused any scrutiny by independent investigators. Schiff and Nadler made up so many bald-face lies in hearings and refused to put their "whistleblower" and "classified" info out for scrutiny. In the end, these Dems were caught in their lies.
