I swear by the 16” spal h.o. fan mounted behind my radiator …….on all my supercharged LS swaps……they literally run for 3 minutes until they kick back off at 179*……..best $150 u can spend on a NEW single fan hands down….just make sure you wire them with a relay as the instructions on the system says too!!!….and a derale trans pan with the cooling tubes keeps my trans temps below 150* on the hottest summer days sitting in traffic!!!

First thing to do if you lose 5v is start unplugging all the sensors that use it, when it comes back that’s the sensor that’s shorted

Thanks for sharing. Glad you were able to get it sorted out. Maybe the 5v pin in your extension harness was barely making connection to the other connector and caused some high resistance getting it hot? Dunno interested to see what you find out

I might have missed your comment about it, but when you removed the oil pressure wire to fix the TPS, you showed the TPS cycling from 0 to 100% perfectly. Later when you were revving the motor to check coolant temp, the TPS had crapped out again.

I've got the same the same general cooling setup. I noticed a decent drop in temps by putting the front splitter and plastics back in the car. It also reduced the run time on the fans. Dual pass rad by Champion, derale pusher fans controlled by factory 3 relay setup.

I could not keep my camaro cool with dual high output pusher fans. I ended up tubing the front of the car moving my rad forward and with a single 16924 and a fan shroud it cooled good. The shroud made a huge difference. You’ll never use the whole rad without one

Sealed ducting. You need to add it. People routinely ignore the requirement for ducting to make the system work more efficient. High pressure flow (IC though trans cooler, to radiator) to low pressure (behind rad) and out. You are going to want to test this car at speed and in traffic to determine it's efficiency. The air needs to be forced through the core to work, otherwise it will find the path of least resistance.

I ran those Derale fans on my old setup. The only issue I had was the supplied fuse holders melted randomly.

I had three of those Derale fans fail on my turbo fbody. ( less than 100 miles completely unraveled the motor internally) they used to have a bosch motor but they switched to a Chinese motor I wish you the best luck.

Check your ground on the block. Maybe Ry can make a remote control car to explain what I mean. Also make sure your sheild wires are not grounded to anything other than shield ground.

Pusher fans don't work. Pull through fans will work but only if you run a shroud. That's been my experience

Come tell that to my pusher fans when they’re working just fine in over 100°F ambient and getting my coolant temp stable at around 190 and while driving and right after a few boosted wot runs they make the temp come down from 210 back to 190 .
