➡️ Barcelona are back in second place in the La Liga table with three games to go thanks to a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium on Monday night. La Real made Barça’s life difficult all night but the Blaugrana played a solid all-around game and took their chances to secure all three points and move back above Girona in their bid to finish the season as league runners-up.

Lamine Yamal never ceases to surprise me, he’s just so good. Next season I would like Xavi to try him more centrally to get the goals and also very importantly work on his weak foot, that’s the only outstanding weakness I’ve seen of him so far. For a 16 year old playing like this the sky is only the limit for him

@@Granglife The goal’s isn’t as important as how he should develop to be more versatile. Him being wide alone wouldn’t make him the best of the best. He’s proven he can play widely but as he develops the manager should try to teach how to be play in different positions so he doesn’t become one dimensional and adapt to any system or situation. He’s so super talented and I believe he can do it

Xavi is showing tribalism coz Roque is not a Spaniard that's why he is not playing at all, Ferran Torres doesn't deserve playing time but bcoz he is from Spain, that's Xavi keeps playing him & kind of mentality won't take a coach far...... What treatment?? How do you know it is Xavi's decision not to play Roque?? Do you know how Roque performs in training?? Do you know how Roque's contract is structured, to say if Roque plays X games, Barca need to pay some fee to Paranense based on appearance. If fees are paid FFP margin might get reduce and restrict Barca to buy any new player. We don't know that. I do not know what is wrong with our fan base. Always wrongly blaming Xavi. I mean Xavi has his faults for sure but not what people sometimes point and moan about. I remember Xavi got blamed for not playing - Riqui Puig - Look where Puig is? - Fati - Look where is Fati in his career? I don't see the same fans blaming RDZ. - Dest - Least said the better. Was so bad. No comments. - Abde - Look where Abde is. Cannot a game at Betis. - Faye - Why Xavi does not play Faye? Have people seen Faye except for youtube videos. Faye makes atleast 4-5 mistakes per game. Last game I watched unitll 85mins vs La Coruna Faye made lot of mistakes. You are allowed to made mistakes. I am not criticizing Faye. Point is if a player is ready Xavi is not afraid to give them a chance. Provided player has to be ready for starting XI. Xavi played youngest 11 in QF of UCL. If Gavi and Balde were fit. We would have had another 18-19yr olds in starting XI. Tell me which coach will do that in UCL QF in these day and age.

Do you really think giving 10-15 mins to a player will affect FFP???😂 If Roque's behaviour in the training is not good then Xavi should try to fix it and if He did so and failed then he should leave out Roque from the squad.

- Roberto is useful for off the field business. He is a calming presence in the dressingroom. The players themselves say this. He is only playing as much as he is because gavi+fdj out and romeu is azz. - Garcia had a good season at Girona and deserves a preseason chance - Roque has 0 European exp yet you smooth brains think you know better than the coach who sees him in practice every other day. Get over yourselves. If you can't appreciate the players we have and the people we are/can work with, then you wouldn't do it for anyone new coming in, delude yourself all you want. At this point in the season it’s so heartbreaking that still Vitor gets no minutes and we play a 36 year old most of the game and the last messily 15 min Xavi still doesn’t bring on our young prospect instead he brings on Ferran who doesn’t deserve those minutes due to him being out with injury ….sad man

There are alot of positives but i want to outline the negatives of the match. Too many miss passes not keeping posession and they were not clinical in there counter attacks. We have to understand that next season madrid is goin to be stronger. We need to fix these negatives and we will be dominant

On Cubarsi playing LCB. That’s on Xavi. There was so many other options that wouldn’t have placed Cubarsi on the side he’s not comfortable with, his passing with his right foot was not what we’re used to seeing from him. He could’ve played Sergi or Fort on the right and used Kounde as a CB. He could’ve played Sergi, Romeu (not the best option) or Fermin in the midfield and dropped Christensen into the CB role. He could’ve played Fort on the left, given Faye minutes on the left, moved Cancelo to the right and played Kounde at CB. So many combinations could’ve avoided a recently turned 17 year old playing in an uncomfortable position, he’s not ready to be used as a catch all. We should be playing Cubarsi where he’s comfortable and letting him grow Roque could’ve had minutes this game too and he chose to use Ferran as a 9 and keep Lamine on for 90 minutes looking tired af

I got a question, if Vitor isnt getting any play time because he still has to focus and “learn positional play”. How come raphina quickly went toe to toe for the winger position with dembele? The treatment this young stud is getting doesn’t sit well with me, in order for him to learn he has to get some game time.
