The Final Act: Andrés Iniesta farewell video

Andrés Iniesta has made his debut for his new team Vissel Kobe in a game against Shonan Bellmare in the J-League.
He came on as a 59th minute substitute for Kazuma Watanabe, but was unable to save his side from 3-0 home defeat.
Back in action for the first time since Spain crashed out of the World Cup on penalties against host nation Russia, this was Iniesta’s first game at club level since his emotional farewell week at Barça in May, including a tearful goodbye to the Camp Nou following the game against Real Sociedad.
And the above video is a timely reminder of how much Iniesta will be missed, with Leo Messi, Luis Suárez and his other team-mates offering all their best wishes to the departing star.
The whole gathered to watch the film - and their reactions, including those of Iniesta himself, are simply priceless! There's not a dry eye in the house.

It is the player Barcelona lack. Someone that penetrates and opens up staunch defenses. He is what Messi lost. Xavi is about passes, Iniesta is about breaking down defenses and opening up the the back side and send defenses in disarray. He is unmatched, never seen a player like him. When Iniesta left Barcelona broke apart their style.

He was the one that made the love of my life at that age Arsenal lose the final. He was the difference, at times i did not recognize what a player he was, i just could not believe who is this Iniesta, 12 years later i have learned that he is one of the greatest midfielder in the history and for me personaly he is right up there with Zidane Ronaldo - Xavi - Ronaldinho - Pirlo - Messi - Buffon - Cristiano - and a selected few others. A true maestro with elegance like no others. He will be missed on the european scene and in the colour of spain wich he never neglected even if he was bleeding for katalonia he was always there for spain. Such a genuine humble guy. If the world was suppose to pick someone to win a war in football he should be the first man in such eleven. Time goes by for everyone (even myself) but there is always key people that influences us in this world no matter what is is, in football don andrés will never be forgotten and when i will think back as a fan of football and hopefully tell my grandchildren i will talk about the man from Barcelona named Andrés Iniesta. Thanks Andrés for amazing memories and good luck in your new adventure in life!
