Luis Enrique has messed up in a lot of things but we also have to give him credit for the things he did. Messi and Neymar have finally linked up very well this season, our defense has looked much more solid and we are now a more direct team. We are actually counter attacking when we have the chance and have scored a good amount of goals from it. Barça looks really good so far but the scary part is that we still have much more to improve!

Messi and Neymar could link up because Suarez wasn't playing. Is Suarez playing, Luis Enrique puts Messi on the wing. Only he knows why. Messi needs to play behind the strikers in a 3-4-3. Then you can get the best out of him. Imagine Messi pulling the strings with Neymar AND Suarez infront of him! He'd rack up 50 assists per season, at least.

Erich U And that's where you're dead wrong, as you could see today in many of the plays, Messi was STILL playing on the wing and was curling the ball to the center or left to Neymar and/or Pedro. So even though Messi was again all over the pitch, he primarily played on RW again,even though Suarez wasn't playing...and look where that's gotten us..plaudits to Lucho,we're starting to look like a contender for europe too...slowly, but surely! :) Now just for putting Messi on RW but still maintaining him happy, but also for improving the thing, which was by far the most problematic,DEFENCE. I can't remember the last time we got only 9 goals conceded after 20 matches in la liga...:) And Lucho did it practically without a serious buy, since Mathieu is injured lately and has not been playing through this fantastic run, that we're on at the moment...not to mention Vermaelen. Just wait that we got our Board lined up properly again, and that the transfer ban expires, so that Lucho can look and then buy with a little more research and not in a hurry, like he had to the past summer....we will be great again under him, i said this at the beggining, and now it's starting to look like it too!!!

1Muzition1 Please stop taking every comment so to heart...it's like Erlich said, he was horrendus through 2012-14, but then Lucho made the exact right choice that was needed, and that was to put Pique on the bench for 2-3 games so that he sees, he's not automatically 1st 11, and look where we are now, he's been awesome this last 2 months, raking in not only more stable and reliable defence, but also scoring a bunch of goals to go with it! And i think for a lot of Cules (including me) Lucho was the last hope to turn around Pique's form and intencity and make him great again, and he did,at least for now. If nothing else, Mathieu was brought in as just the right intrusion, so that Lucho could afford to bench and discipline Pique a little for that 2-3 games in October or November and play at that time very in-from Mathieu instead of him and thus help Pique realize that he simply must get better and especially that he needs to start training and trying more and to stop being a lazy-ass defender.
