Great upgrades, the window cages are gonna look really good. Personally I would wait to paint the bumpers till after they get so scratched up you have no choice but to paint them, just my opinion 😊 Awesome video brother 😎

Maybe you can put the window guards on sharpie the holes and take a sewing needle and heat the end up with a lighter and poke a hole or something. Or a really thin needle idk. The bumpers look nice

Torch and needle or pin is the quickest way to put those window guards on. Also, definitely would paint the bumpers white, would match the era od the truck better👍

Hey EZ, use a needle, one of those with a ball head, mark it up with a fine tip Sharpee and then heat the needle and poke those lil holes !! (Worked for me anyway on something similar)

If it was like lexan it might work, but this is a really hard plastic. I'm not sure if it would work on that, but I might try it. Thanks for the tip.

I just ordered 3 sets of those bumpers, because I have my 3rd fcx10 K5 ordered. Do you think they would take chrome rust-oleum well? I don't think I want all of my rigs sporting black bumpers. I will have a truck in each color when the orange arrives.

You should be good to go. These are powder coated, so you won't have any issues painting over them. I don't think. I'm probably using rust-oleum white when I do mine.
