The fire hoses should already be attached to the container beams, to have the crew carry or horst the fire hoses up on a narrow stairway is time consuming, better yet, ridge the boat with high-pressure water nozzles attached to every level of the containers platforms. 🤔

1:00:28 it's surprising there haven't been inventions of some sort of hydraulic arms that can reach out, attach to the ship (while allowing it to bob & sway with tide) and slowly pull it into dock gently.. Ships would be built or rigged with some sort of attachment to couple with these hydraulic arms to bring the ships into port, from the portside instead of the sea side..

Just a thought but what about chocks made out of hardwood or small pieces of steel to bolt to semi submersible transport boat? Then run the cable and stow connected to the tug. Seems foolish to me to wing it after all that work - 3 month tow. Yikes!!
