Thanks for the information! I live under a rock .. i just found out about this recall because I got my surgery done in Colombia but I specifically asked for this brand Allergen and textured implant after seeing an LA doctor using those implants. My 10 year anniversary was coming soon and I was looking to replace them but after knowing these I will consider and explanation, and I would try to remove them asap, hopefully is not too late ! I had textured saline implants implanted at the age of 19, 2 years ago I found out the implants were recalled because of bia-alcl- a (cancer of the immune system )I’m now 31 and started to feel the same symptoms of bii around the age 28 after having 2 children.. I blamed it on chasing the kids around just being tired and exhausted having small headaches , sometimes anxiety , joint pain and my knuckles were swollen.. maybe I’m using my hands too much with household mom duties.) but no.. I’ve decided to make an appointment to have them exchanged , but then realized I’m just gonna have the same problem with a different implant down the road. I have an appointment April 6 to have them explanted completely.. I can’t wait to start feeling better and get my life back! Any implant made of plastic is poison and foreign to the body and it slowly kills ! Please be aware. Learn from our stories !!

I was explanted in December 2019. I continue to have pain, tightness, pressure, limited movement and shortness of breath. I have scar tissue, deformed skin and feel like I was mutilated. My surgeon did not remove the excess skin and, when I asked why, was told that he could do more surgery to remove the skin after I heal. It feels like I have a tight vise around my chest all the time..there's no relief. I'm 69 and besides the above, also suffer from bilateral lymphedema, Hashimoto's, asthma, chronic bronchitis, hiatal hernia

My implants are over 20yo and not had any Dr question all my ongoing health symptoms of major fatigue, inflammation, loss of strength, night sweats, foggy brain and memory loss, anxiety, depression, migraine headaches and irritable bowel syndrome...on and on AND if my implants could be the root cause that’s set all this in motion and reason nothing has been affective in relieving or improving my overall health and symptoms?! Millions with implants and this information is certainly not common knowledge or have ever been screened when having an annual physical and mammogram that presents with auto immune, inflammation, indocrine associated complaints and lab abnormalities that cannot be accounted for, explained or treated!! I’m digging into my file cabinet and hope I have my paperwork for this purchase so many years ago as my medical records are no longer available. We need more awareness!

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with illnesses that most likely is related to your implants (my opinion) I’m not a Doctor. Seek help to have them removed or replaced, your choice.

Eight years is key for me. I had mine in 1995, so if mine caused cancer it would have been within eight years, right? My left one has hardened and I can feel it and there is pain. My surgeon told me I had the Allergan put in. I'm terrified.

I had my textured ones replaced because of this reason. Such an improvement. So much softer and natural than those nasty textured ones.

It is a World Wide recall, you can get in contact with allergan at MX Df, and arrange the replacement with your dr. So the implants can be replace with no cost to you. If you serum became positi of cd-30 or enlarged cell tcell lipoma , then the surgery cost will be reimbursement to you

Thank you for this video! I got my implants done in Sweden and they told me they had life garantee, I got the gummy bear implant underneath the muscle. It’s now been 8 years since I got them and I have been experiencing some soreness, by swelling do you mean constant swelling or just boob soreness ?

Thank you for that information. Have those implants. I am not from US any suggestions what I should do!? Every year I am doing my checks via ultrasound. Is there any other recommendation I should take into consideration? Your advice is greatly helpful. 😊🙏

I’ve done a lot of research and they’re saying some doctors do not recommend immediate surgery while others are. Allergen is offering to replace the textured implant for free up until sometime in 2021. You only have to pay for the surgery itself. I just got natrelle/allergen inspira gummies and i thank God I wasn’t able to get them this year, because the textured is what I was going to go after

It was nothing but God that stopped me from being able to get my surgery done in 2018 or 2019. I was going to go after this exact implant because it was said the textured implant help for better development of scar tissue and settling into the chest. I was able to get mines this May and I noticed my doctors office only had smooth textured soft gummies. I didn’t question it though. Thank God I had to wait until this year because I was definitely going for the textured implant. 🙌🏾🙌🏾

The fact this doctor says "rare" shows how misinformed or how shady he is. Implants cause autoimmune diseases. Ask yourself. Why has your doctor not tested you to see if you are even a candidate for implants? With everything especially if tested , there would be a percentage of people that just don't qualify. Also implants cause cancer. How many woman have to suffer because of ignorance? Doctors should put their jobs on the line when giving information like this. And be held personally responsible for wrong information.

i doubt that its thaat rare among those that have those textured implants... it usually takes 7-9 years to develop this cancer.. and only ca 10% in usa have textured... so... yeah perhaps rare in the usa... but thats mainly because most of them have smooth implants.. yes... alcl has also been found in smooth implants but more rare than in textured.
