Even though I am a retired fire captain I wish I could go back in time and hang-out with FDNYs command staff for 6 months or so, to learn from the best at dealing with major complex multiple alarm incidents. They are tops when it comes to managing command and control of major incidents!!! I have read books written by FDNYs retired chiefs and I thoroughly enjoyed reading their management style, but it is nothing like learning and experiencing by being indulged in the mix of the activities! Nice job FDNY!

If you have every been in the middle of a situation such as the one by which you are judging the professional video people who have been involved with knowing what they are doing and staying at a safe distance also. This is what they do. If you have every (which is doubtful) been in a position to get involved with fire and fire reporting on the way in which the people who bring us these professional services do every day. So don't worry about that they get to close in your estimation, too bring us who are apriecative for their actions and hard work.
