I'm very new to the whole fs logging scene. really been enjoying it lately. I've never had any interest in logging or in farming sims but my cousin showed me Farming Sim 25 when it came out. I saw logging and its literally been the only thing I've done since i got the game. i refuse to farm. There is just something about swinging logs, the amount of control, the neatness and the skill required just itches my brain in a way nothing else has in a long time. Stumbled onto this channel and I am really impressed with the amount on dedication from the community and its genuinely cool to see.

I got your mods shortly after the release and I have no issues with anything but I would really like to be able to bust up the big rocks and haul the gravel away (to use). I roleplay and your maps are a great challenge to clear land and plow fields in, build a home etc etc. Got a good PC, wheel/pedals, duel sticks, Patriot XL button box, TrackIR..yadda yadda. Keep up the good work man. (Had your mods since FS19) 👍

As always, can't express enough how much your work on the fantastic mods is appreciated! As with previous FS versions, your mods excel and make the game so much more fun!!! One question though: could you make the changes you made to the trees available for modders creating maps? Would be nice if there would be a number of different lumber maps with some consistency in how the trees "feel"?

I love your mods and youre the main reason i bought a pc. I loved seeing them on your tiktok, facebook, youtube and others playing them. So glad you didnt jump ship because of how great you are at it and do it almost for nothing. You've gone through so much just for your fans to have almost realistic mods in a farming game (Which i dont understand why giants dont fix logging stuff since logging is technically considered farming at least in the USA) Keep up the great work man. Gonna always enjoy your mods and hope youre mental health from modding (Since it can be stressful) is always great. Love watching you stream on tiktok and chatting with you when you can. Now that's some amazing progress, love seeing the new stuff being produced. makes me want to jump in and try them out, myself. on the base game maps, there's these what seem to be forest debris (like fallen logs, stumps and sticks) that have a physical collision hitbox with no way to get rid of them to my knowledge when using base game equipment or any of the terraforming tools. what's your advice on dealing with something like that?

Awesome mods, FDR! 😊 I really enjoy playing with your mods. If you see this and have some time to answer, it would be very helpful. When I use the processor heads and feed it to the set length, the last bit I want to throw the other way always gets stuck, and I need to cut it to release it from the processor. Is this a setting somewhere, or do you have any idea what might be causing it? Thank you!

I can't wait for the logitec joystick to release for xbox. Then I could do logging or other things easier. I know the joystick has been on hold since the game is still not quite ready for it, but still.

Very nice informative video again. Question: is it possible to control the machines with just 1 Farmstick or is having two really a must?

I would say 2 is a must but you might be able to do a weird half hybrid keyboard/joystick combo if you had no other option

Can you share exactly how you have your controls setup? I can't get my excavator feel nice for logging... love the generic harvester and crane though - and the FDR map is beast :D

I'm tempted to get 25 based on what you're saying. I've been holding out until the farming side gets cleaned up. But if it's worth upgrading just for logging, we'll that's all I've been doing in 22. Is there a way for you to get a kickback if I buy FS25?

I use your mods with a controller and, well it sucks. I need to upgrade to a dual stick setup. You make it look so effortless. It’s very slow and clunky with my Xbox controller. Maybe someday I’ll get to test my skills as an operator, until then I’ll watch your videos in awe.

On the base game excavators you can turn without driving forward or backward, is there a reason you can’t do this while driving your machines?

Considering switching over to fs25 on pc. Do your mods get muddy and dirty on the new game? Also do they have damages like the base game machines? I like to play semi realistic with servicing machines. Been doing this with the platinum expansion on fs22 console. Also, with your maps do other mods work good enough with your mods?

@@FDRLoggingtracks only getting muddy is more realistic than the whole machine which is nice. Based off experience it’s not like tracks will fling mud too high up a machine. What about machines having damage?

trees sink into the ground is not a glitch its a bug happen for me all the time, dont think Giants will spend any dev-time on it and fix it

I love the mods. Will make a donation shortly. Found one bug. The lights on some of the machines dont work. If i go to 3rd person camera i can se that i turn the om/off. But they dont shine upp the surranding Any ideas?

lighting issues seems to be related to graphics settings, try increasing your lighting settings

@simionbailey5114 I just wanted to do foresty in 25 already got close to thirty hours 16 of that is base game forestry. Not bad just want the big boy mods
