James thanks for the effort, base on my 4 times experience with NCEES, they never bring me questions like this smpility #1,#2 ,#3 only if some one lucky , most questions on math are tricky and they focus on statistic LOL

@@a.r7688 honestly I would suggest booking a call with me so that you dont have to keep retaking this exam. The problem may not be how complex the problems are. It could be time management, understanding concepts, unit conversations, lack of self discipline, simple mistakes or a series of other things. hey James, on this one if you just out in zero for x then solve for y it will be -2. found this one to be a 1 stepper and maybe will save some time on the test
