Not just the crits but almost all the attack animations (besides the Berserker, he looks like he trips and drops his axe on the enemy) are beautiful. I would go out of my way to level up my Knights to get Generals just so I could watch them straight harpoon their enemies. Honestly prefer this older style to the more 3D look of more recent games.

That last one (where Bartre dies) is supposed to be only like a 9% of happening (18% twice)... This is why I don't trust the supposed Crit Rate % in FE games lol (they always seem to be higher than what it says, like twice as high) Edit: ~3% actually (0.18 x 0.18 = 0.0324), as someone pointed out... was lazy with ma math. Frickin 1 in 33 chance, though!

Debayan sen gupta rutger is undoubtedly fe6’s best combat unit. but units like milady or perceval are generally considered better because they can fight almost as well, and can also ferry around important units like roy or, rutger, for example. so mounted and flying classes would be considered better, but i think it’s more conducive to attribute a character’s strength to their traits, not there class. i think we can both agree that fir and rutger are very different despite both being swordmasters, as well as milady and zeiss

Honestly I prefer all GBA style of Fireemblem and wish they would just make more games with this style of art/animations and just flex with some quality of life stuff like in Sacred Stone. Add Arena's that are spread out over levels but in a New Game+ you can go back to these spots and farm them as needed. That or just extend the campaign for longer... would be need to go deeper into the quality of gameplay with these sick animations and style.

The only way to keep getting the same result is if you keep sending the same character over and over making no changes whatsoever.

When he said that the axe users miss in high crit chances, isnt accuracy checked first to see if a hit occurs, and then crits are checked? If so, there was a fairly low chance of a crit occuring in the arena. What is more impressive is that the unit dodged that many times.
