Man... Daan is the Cahara in Fear and Hunger 2. Bro really has the worst life for no reason. He wants to be happy, but there is always something that locks happiness away from him. He just wanted to live a happy life with his wife... but then his father-in-law took her life. Justice for my blue haired, sexy boys

Going blind through both games, I found it wierd that I had found a favorite character immidietaly. Cahara in first, Daan in Termina. After finishing both... Yea, it makes sense. I guess I have a type.

@@teine928Yes, or atleast his speak is used to referance him. You can notice It by " old sport " and thanks to the fact that seems like the narrator is trying to persute daan by marking how he is hopeless, with no answers and the horrible things he did in prehevil AND BEFORE ( Probably he never actually did these thinghs, but pocketcat wants to persuad him by playing mental tricks, you can also see that when daan is moonscorched )

@@cannibalman8175 ragnvalder was simply him, but even after his efforts it was shown in o'saa's story that the dungeons of fear and hunger still were dangerous and cursed even centuries later

@@randoms2463 It feels weird to know that all the terrifying monsters like the Harvestman, Crow Mauler and White Angel etc were not the main cause of the danger in the dungeons of fear and hunger. You'd think it's the suffering and corruption caused by these monsters that plagues the dungeons but in truth, they were simply corrupted by the darkness of the Old Gods and Mahabre. The sinister aura emanating from the silent and still Ancient City is what plagues the dungeons of fear and hunger.

Funny how the more modern human compared to funger 1 are arguably better equipped in terms of technology, scientific knowledge and weaponry to deal with the horrors of the world (if you can beat them with sword and steel you can beat them with bombs and guns) but they despair all after surviving. In funger 1 enki just thought fuck it hyper magic time and obtained immortality as well as knowledge without going insane, and ragnavaldr instead of despairing of the miniscule hope humanity has compared to how strong evil monsters are in the world just went out and made monsters virtually extinct with bow and axe lmao. Would be cool to have an ending where a anti-monster task force is established for humanity to combat the horrors and evils of the world

Personally I think that the ending A contains the ending B of every character that survived, it's just not shown to us. The truma that the characters have would still be there becouse the moonscorched (probably spelled it wrong) are still kinda human so killing them would still couse a lot of trauma and even if you don't kill anyone/anything, they all saw awful things that will scar them for life.

you get thrown into the pits of sulfur to be reborn as a member of the sulfur cult where you also get a glimpse of the sulfur god(the sculpture with a tongue sticking out)

Reminds me of the description of Hell from the Bible; you will experience unending anguish and thirst to the point where even you would beg for someone to dip their finger in water and place it on your tongue to soothe your pain. The tongue(?) writhing out of the hole makes me think that who or whatever is in there is experiencing just that, and makes it all the more disturbing.

About character's own canon remains the B ending of everyone, where you can see what happened to them in their future, alone, but it's their own future against all after all

Hope there's an expansion or S ending for Daan where he to hunts them sulfur god cultist and put an end to their influence. Then at the end, he'll have his brief respite, before traveling around the world to actively dismantle the remnants of the cult

You die, you go to hell, you become reborn as a powerful being, freed of morality and guilt. I've seen it compared to becoming the Ubermensch. You will no longer be an irrelevant footnote in history and will be able to do whatever you want as a member of the cult of sulfur, but I'd say you'll probably spread chaos, pain and misery. The last shot is your audience with the sulfur god.

They all had different reasons to go to Prehevil and not a single one of them knew about Termina before hand, they were chosen without their knowledge. And they couldn't leave during Termina because of the zombie-like outbreak that Rher caused in the town (not to mention most of them had stuff to do in town, like finding someone important or investigating certain events)
