This fight was a halucination. In my opinion, it's heavily suggested that our mc just got "looked at" by rher, and got his attention. Bcs even Perkele said something about the player being unable to kill rher, simply due to him floating in the sky/air. Even if he floats closer, how do you even can hit him? After the fight our character is tweaking with his whites out, and it's day 4. Traces of old gods can cause madness in mortals, so I assume that after perkele's death, Rher's traces got unchained and this event brings moon god's eyes on us.

@@KentaTheGreat1 it works semi-fine if you use heroin or pep-pills to boost speed before hand and then also equip yygatsu amulet (Or however tf you spell that). Then, if you have perfect guard, which you should, you can attack and guard every turn and get somewhat reliable healing.

hahahahahahaha look at this dude There's a reason why the thing you fight is called *Traces* of Rher In fact, you fight Rher even less than you fight the traces of Grogoroth and Sylvian in F&H1. At least those encounters actually happen, even if it's just your characters swinging at what's effectively just the footprint of the Old Gods. The fight against the traces if Rher is all in your head, a result of staring at a ray of moonlight directly for a split second. All that's really happening is you having a seizure and trying not to instantly moonscorch.

Technically one could argue that you encounter Rher more directly than any of the other Old Gods. Per'kele states that the traces of the old gods don't have any proper consciousness behind them and that they're more like forces of nature now; meanwhile, Termina has us directly interact with Rher's conscious self, even if only in our minds.
