Ma'habre streets plays because ''logic' is essentially a world wide cube device. The teleologic devices are powered by the cubes, that we made in the intro, and use the green of Rher to function. Remember when you activated the cube device in the first game, and the streets became a version of the past? Logic is the same mechanism. but on a massive scale. Le'gard adapted it to create a new world, a self sustaining illusion that overrights the present and becomes just as real. In the next game, the old world will still exist, but nobody will be living in it. Save, perhaps, for those in Vinland....

Hmm so if the God of Fear and Hunger heralded the industrial revolution, and the Machine God basically heralds a morbid version of the Information/Internet Age It is certainly interesting to see the contrast between the "natural" green void (seen in f&h1, implied to be the moon/Rher's surface) and the "Artificial Green" cyberspace seen with the birth of the Machine God I wouldnt be surprised if F&H3 ended up being set in a futuristic/cyberpunk setting to explore this further The music and Abella's ending seemingly hint at a future sci-fi setting.

Hearing Ma’habre streets made me so happy. Because like so many signs point to the town being built on the dungeons of fear and hunger. The museum, the sewer, tunnels, the priest’s dream. Was Logic built on the throne of Ma’habre ? Probably not but the bunker seems thematically related to the old dungeons.
@cosmicoandromeda7195 Жыл бұрын
Probably inspired by the Dungeon as Le'garde (now Kaiser) went to the dungeons of Fear and Hunger and achieve godhood over there, but not ACTUALLY the same dungeon as you can explore the real Dungeons of Fear and Hunger when you start the game as O'saa, since his prologue is all about entering the dungeons of Fear and Hunger and getting out with N'ashra's head.
@zombbro Жыл бұрын
It's related, but the dungeons are somewhere in Rondor, which is basically France And Prehevil is in Bohemia, it's basically the equivalent of Prague But thematically there's similarities, because obviously a good part of the city is aware of the Old Gods and Le'Garde himself is working on creating the machine god. I'm not so good with the lore to know why they built the machine exactly where they did, however, if there even was a reason for it. Might just be that some forces are stronger the deeper you are underground, for some reason.
@shawermus Жыл бұрын
@@cosmicoandromeda7195 what exactly do you mean by that? How these two can be two different dungeons?! Or like, you just misunderstood that O'saa was in ruins of it?
@cosmicoandromeda7195 Жыл бұрын
@@shawermus sorry, re-reading my comment i see it doesnt make too much sense. To clarify, the ending where L'garde ascends is canon, so he went to mahabre AND the dungeons of Fear and Hunger so he could access the city. When you play as O'saa you also go to the dungeons of Fear and Hunger where you retrieve N'ashra. So the city of Prehevil CAN'T be on the dungeons of Fear and Hunger because it's 2 totally different places. Why is there a Mahabre leitmotif on this theme? Probably because of the similarities between Logic and the little girl. Both somehow connected to L'egarde, both being humans who also reached the same level of godhood as the old gods and both being about the rise of a new Era on civilization and humanity.

This entire soundtrack is incredible, but this song takes the cake. It hits all the right points. Love the throwback to Mahab're streets. This song makes it feel like everything in the series has been leading up to this moment. It has such a deep sense of finality. It seems like each game begins and ends with another Ascended God that is more and more disconnected from the Old Gods. I wonder what F&H3 will be like? How will Logic change the world? She feels like something entirely new, something that will change everything about life, making it almost unrecognizable. She seems to distort time itself. How will F&H3 complete this story? I'm very excited.

Maybe this is how they create a new-old god, by making everyones sub conscious interpret the same shape. Or logic might just be the in universe equivalent of an nokia 6108 I don't know.
