I was doing a ragnavaldr s ending run and i got everything before talking to le'garde's corpse and i didn't realize that i killed the elite guard in front of the door so i couldn't enter. after i realized this blunder i was pretty sad that i just wasted like 4 or 5 hours and would have to do it all over again but then i remembered there is a guarantee empty scroll in nosramus room so i got it and taught myself phase step and thankfully it worked

I think that another way to get softblocked is when you try to get blue sin without also using a rope to climb down in the Mines. So if you come from the other way around, the one you can access by the prison cells, then once you get blue sin and get back from Mahabre's visions, then that exit will be locked, and since you never threw the rope down the mines then you won't be able to climb up either. I think the only way to escape is by using phase step.

There you aren't softlocked, there is a road in the down left path that leads to a way blocked by some rocks, but near there you can find a guaranteed explosive vial! Also, if you instead go to the right you can crawl in the wall, and eventually reach a wall made of leaf, and can open a hidden passage there by clicking!

I had an enemy corpse in front of a door before and I could only interact with it and not the door, so I edited the save file to give an empty scroll to learn phase because I couldn't bother to restart the run just because a guard's fatass blocking my way. also interesting side note: you probably know this but Termina has the code for empty scrolls for some reason ( I think the code for fear and hunger 1 is all used in Termina) you can edit it in the save file as well as a quill I messed around for a while and I found out that the weapons from fear and hunger 1 correspond to weapons in Termina I think for example crude sword ( or maybe boneshears can't remember which one ) gives mauler but it still says Allmer gives you crudesword also some souls from part one exist in termina as well like the crow mauler soul and it works just fine I equipped my full party with two crow maulers, eyeglasses , and a mauler for each character just to see the damage I was dealing, and BOY most of the time only two or three had to attack even for bosses. I don't like to cheat for serious runs but it was fun slapping the enemies around in this experiment for a bit. tried the skills but it's only the skills from part one, but didn't delve in it so maybe they also correspond to skills in Termina like the weapons ( most likely they both have the id in the code or smth, not a code guy at all really )

Yeah termina literally has all assets used in Fear & Hunger 1 for some reason, maybe some of the code got reused, but other parts got scrapped!

I remember baiting the crow mauler in a bear trap, that fuck triggered it twice and didnt get his leg cut off. On top of that I couldnt initiate a fight until he regened. Dunno if you're not supposed to be able to bust his legs permanently but the rest was bs lol

You cannot break crow legs with a beartrap! And even if you break those in combat he can still walk!

I let my friend try this game for the first time on fear and hunger difficulty, at the end of the second area the crow mauler burst out of the wall and killed him. I was wondering how this happened since I found nothing about this on the wiki. I'm glad to finally know the answer kind of.

I had a similar "guard-blocks-door" issue. For my first few runs, I couldn't find Legarde bc the nearby guard kept rushing towards me and dying in front of his door, preventing me from opening it.

I've got a bug I played outlander. In the thicket dungeon i could go to the top left corner and see a second outlander holding a tourch from the walkable ground. If I use phase step to go to it I can not interact with this clone. Second bug If yeti thing grabs you in level 4 dungeon of dungeon nights. You can be telprted to main game ancient city. Third You can interact with present city green lezer things without the cube, but can not interact with past city green lazer things.

@Frapollo94 I found a 4th one today. If you are playing hard mode you can do the endless soul dream in present city by resting in the bed (you still won't be able to save). If you get booted out of the dream, you will end up in past city.

There is a bug where the game thinks your skeleton has two arms after he already lost one. When you saw off this skeletons arm you cant acces your inventory anymore from that point on you cant heal eat and patch up bleeding from inventory so basically game over.

@@frapollo94 Some people had the same bug for some reason it happens in mahabre when examining a table with 4 empty places(for skeleton arms) and using a bonesaw on a skeleton.

@@frapollo94 It's been a long time but try spamming en garde on Mahabre (old mainly I think?), especially in areas with lots of verticality like bridges and sorts, I have gotten locked in those areas a bunch of times

Not sure if it's already been covered, but there's a bug that I found recently regarding the Cavedweller Village: On the off-chance that your playthrough triggers the random event where the village is slaughtered by the Moonless Guards, you can search the corpse of the spear-wielding enemy in front of the Cube of Depths. However, despite the text describing how you pick up the Ritual Spear, you actually get a regular ol' Iron Spear. Additionally, you can keep searching the corpse and you'll keep getting spears! Infinite spears for everyone. As far as I know, the other Cave Dweller who also normally spawns with a spear is nowhere to be found, presumably destroyed by the Moonless Guards. Kind of annoying though, because sometimes I need access to a back-up poison weapon when I can't find any throwing darts, but that event essentially makes you lose out on the guaranteed Ritual Spear!

Unfortunately I wasn't around by the time we got the demo, I didn't even know the ending D shown in this video was the one of the old version, some people on the server explained that to me! But if I find more old versions cut content I'll mention it for sure!

@@frapollo94 For a bit of context; The past several times I"ve done it, Nosramus isn't even sitting on the floor or standing or whatever. He's totally invisible and I get the prompt. Whenever I choose to "Reveal myself" the dialogue box closes as if it is going to show the next one, however it doesn't ever play. I am just stuck "mid-cutscene" unable to move for eternity.

There is another glitch I found while playing outlander. First you take revenge on Le'garde then recruit D'arce. If you bring D'arce to Le'garde's body, she will yell his name and the screen will go black. You can move around but you can't see.

If you do the blood golem thing with Isayah or the old knight, can it equip items? Like it'd be pretty neat if I could do the Isayah thing, give the blood golem OP gear, and then have and overpowered party member with 200 body for crow mauler. It'd sacrifice the items, so it's not super practical, but it would be cool
