Never heard of this movie until I saw of Barry’s recent passing. RIP Kowalski. They list this on his acting credits. Saw the chase scene. Excellent. Ford Torino GT. Not the Challenger. When stunts and car chases were real

This trailer is kind of misleading. The film starts off with a bang and the first 10-15 minutes are filled with quick-paced action and a brilliant car chase. The remaining three-quarters is a slow-burning drama about a man setting up several people so he can take revenge upon them. The film really has no climax. Of course, what's interesting is that this was the film Barry Newman was making when he got a call from his agent telling him they've edited "Vanishing Point" down so much it's nothing more than a B-movie about some hop-head in a stolen car.
