I Love Jamie and Donna! They have the courage and insight I pray rubs off on all of us. They are fearless and they remind us that God is in control, not me. The promise of Jesus is we will live forever so that we can be bold and live lives unafraid and rich and strong. Thank you both for your love, your amazing testimony and for showing us how to do this thing called FAITH.

I’m so glad the podcast host shared his fear at the end - I needed to hear what Jamie told him. Powerful. Cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you.

Let TRUTH reign! Truth not security, when a son learns his fear from his father... Look to the Lord, what do we have to be afraid of? NOTHING!!! Wow, we truly can live a fearless life when we TRUST in Jesus. What an awesome example 😍

Minute 23:00 when we first moved to Mozambique I began to feel this same thing. I asked the Father am I fearful? and He said Yes. I said many I haven't struggled with fear in years, so why? He said because you are more isolated now! It was such a huge lesson for me!

Hi, where is part 1 of this talk on fear please?

Wish Jamie answered the question that was asked at the end about the other Americans dying…

He has spoken about it in other shows. I don't remember where. Maybe listen to some other podcasts he's been on. It's an amazing and heartbreaking event. Would have probably taken longer than this episode allowed for.

Peter (Petros) means small stones. Petra means rock. Jesus was saying he would build his church on the rock of himself petra. Jesus and God would never build their church on a mere mortal small stones petros. This was not a name change for Peter. Jesus would never call Peter the rock.Jesus was making a comparison. All through out scripture Christ is called the rock, the cornerstone, the foundation. Peter was not that.

Could it be that the rock Jesus was speaking of is the “revelation” from the Father that he would build the Kingdom? And without this hearing faith (revelation) would not exist.

Reptilian brain??? Really? We are created in the image of God and you talk about us as humans as having a reptilian brain?
@laurenkulp194 Жыл бұрын
It’s the “fight or flight” part of our brain. It’s real, God made it to protect us.
