I'm blk american and thinking of living in London and obtaining a work visa. I was thinking maybe 6 months. I just feel a closer connection to the English culture (what ever that means. lol) I'm thinking of making my move with $10,000 dollars is that enough because I heard the cost of living in london was CRAZY. I use to pay 1500 a month for a studio in harlem but moved to Atl. I heard a studio in London was higher than that.

Do you have a working permit to work in UK? If yes how did you get it? Was it thru the job? How is the living expenses there compare to America? London is not ENGLAND . Please , please travel outside the capital, if you are able and see more of the country . In the states one can travel for miles and it's just the same . Not here , the country changes very quickly . And yes we do love your accent !
