Kaiden's Mom must be so proud of them!!!! I sure would be if my 25 yo cis-gender son knew early on that he really wasn't being true to himself & not projecting his true identity & came out in any other capacity, like his bff trans-female Jamie did to him first at 18 as HS Sr, then to her family, then in college & had surgeries. She is happy, gorgeous, successful, and ACCEPTED...& still & forever his first real BFF 😊♥️

Non binary was not a term when I was a kid. I resented going thru puberty and watch my boyish body change into a woman. I didn't want to be female, vulnerable and secondary to males. I just wanted to be a genderless adult. But that not being an option I just coped best I could. I'm so happy a world exists for NB folk, having options and networking with each other.

I'm non-binary. Just remember they are the same person.(speaking for myself here, everyone's experience is different) As we slowly start/try to express ourselves in ways suciaty usually deems different...it's like a pressure relief valve...ppl might only see the change as being different, but ppl don't see the pressure inside our own minds/emotions trying to just be ourselves. How you feel inside and how you want the world to see you are still two different things, because you can't do anything about how the world sees you!!!! You can be non-binary but still dress in female clothes and were make-up, simply because you like that. Kaiden dresses in male clothes and presents themselves as more male than female (on a spectrum, they would be more towards the male side). So, people conflating with how you feel and how you present is not helping!!!!!!

Kaiden is masculine but not necessarily a man. Kaiden identifies as non binary, meaning neither man nor woman. The same way a woman can be masculine or a man can be feminine, someone who doesn't identify with either man or woman can present themselves as either more masc of fem.

@@thenightbringer9770 I understand that it can be a difficult concept to grasp, I think for most people it is. Me included. I think one of the best ways to try to understand would be to try to imagine desperately wanting to be the opposite gender you are now. You likely feel very comfortable with the gender you've known yourself to be. Yeah, it might be interesting to be the opposite gender for a day to see what it's like... but you may still feel like a girl (if you are a girl). It would be agonizing to be stuck as a boy and everyone call you a boy if you really AREN'T a boy. I appreciate your willingness to understand. The concept may become more clear as you grow older and gain new experiences.
