Anyone notice how when all the accusation came out about Ellen last year, there were some celebs sticking up for Ellen but Taylor never did? And yet they were apparently "friends". I think it speaks volumes Taylor didn't stick up for her. They were never friends. It was all for the Ellen show. Seeing these interviews now makes me so uncomfortable. There was nothing funny about it. Especially the one with the bell.

Now that you mention it, they were very awkward on the most recent appearance for the ME!/Lover era promo too. Ellen had nothing left to say other than "you can do anything you want" and Taylor pretty much just showed a bunch of old cat videos from the latter half of the reputation era too with a strange round of Hot Hands. It wasn't very engaging at all.

you know that Taylor has a whole team behind her that would get upset if she walked off or was confrontational because that goes against her image, but then if she plays along she'll get "angry emails" from the guys Ellen drags into the bits. It's like she's cornered into doing something she doesn't want to do and Ellen is completely aware of this, that's why she keeps pushing and pushing and pushing. Taylor probably got backlash for being emotional about this too until Ellen's true personality was revealed.
