I pastor a charismatic Protestant church in the Kalamazoo/Portage area and some of us attend a monthly meeting with an encounter group in the area. We love it! My wife usually leads worship (when we attend, which isn’t always). It’s so wonderful to be part of something like this which helps unite all of God’s people!

This is a great documentary. One of my favourite lines is at the beginning when the director says "Did you see the miracle?" The miracle is that it is happening in a Catholic Church!

I have suffered with excruciating nerve and musculoskeletal pain from my L4/L5/S1 following the sciatic nerve all the way down to my feet. Injuries sustained from labor & delivery of breach baby when I was 29. I am now 57 years old and the ONLY way I will ever be free from this relentless painful pain 24 hours of EVERY day & night of my life is to be HEALED by GOD. A miracle healing. Other than that….I will only be free from this pain when I’m dead. This nonstop constant pain has absolutely ruined any life plans that I had. I stay home in pain 99% of the time other than dr Appts. I keep asking for healing. I love GOD and continue on. 🙏❤️

This was an awesome presentation. I liked it a lot. Some 25 years ago I used to go the Charismatics. But they never had any healings like it was shown here. Catholics must have learned a lot since then just listening to the priest and the lady in blue. She had some very good thoughts. I am glad I watched this tonight since it is the second very direct and powerful message today that I got from God that focused (redirected?)my thinking a bit more. Praise God! Thank you for sharing this very good video.🙂

I recently heard that laity should not engage in the laying on of hands. It was an exorcist priest who said this but I can't remember which priest. Can someone clarify if what is being done in this documentary by lay people is acceptable by the Catholic church. The preist said only a priest should lay on hands.

In the diocese of Raleigh there is a very consistent teaching that only ordained clergy or those that have familial authority over one (parents and spouses) should lay their hands on that person to pray over them. I have also heard stories from another diocese of lay people being given permission to lay their hands and pray over others in very specific contexts within Catholic churches. Separately, there are times at Mass where the priest asks everyone present to extend their hands towards someone (e.g. mothers on mothers day) to pray for the lord to bless them. I haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet, but I'm trying to figure out what's going on here.
