ZenEQ seems to be an m4l version off Eventide's Split EQ. Which I've been tempted to buy but couldn't justify the price. Thanks for this suggestion!

I have both and they work in a completely different way. ZenEQ seem to be based on gate-like way of splitting, whereas Split EQ uses a more complex algorithme producing different results.
