I absolutely LOVE this ... And I would like to share a quick story... While shopping one day several years ago .. I overheard the cashier at the deli counter say to the customer "Have a Good Day" .. I only heard the response as I was not actually looking in that direction .. The answer came back in a small weathered voice .. " Every day is a good day" ... I looked up to see a very old, fragile looking man who had made the response .. In that moment I was touched, moved and perspective changed.. And I have not forgotten it over all the years that have passed since. I think of it often in fact. It has been at least 30 years ago ... I will leave you with one final thought "if you think you have nothing to be grateful for ... check your pulse .." To everyone who reads this "Have a GOOD DAY" !

Thanks for sharing. We are often inspired by these little things that other people may not even notice. I was and continue to be inspired by a guy who worked at a gym. When I asked back how are you, he was excited and said something along the lines of "I am great. I am grateful for every moment of my life." When I asked why? Naomi Muthoni; 9 magical words for a meaningful life: gratitude, courage, knowledge, belief,wonder,generosity, compassion,hope and love ❤️ 1 year later and I hope you are doing well. I have battled with depression and your comment reminded me of a dark place I was in. We all go through tribulations and I found in my own life once I started focusing on the positives it was a better day. Somedays I would wake up and I didn’t want to get out of bed because everything felt gloomy. I understand that blocking / negative/ anger feeling…but I also realized I was carrying around all that negative energy and it was exhausting and affecting all the people that loved me…I could see them slipping away. I didn’t know how to change, I felt miserable. I started taking walks and I was so broke-I would say to myself just breathe the air is free, just take in the beauty around you. Then my mind would ponder on weird things like birds in flight and how it was a “free” show, but nonetheless I felt thankful to experience the moment. It’s the little weird moments that have helped me. By the way I am deaf and I am thankful for the other senses I do have. I hope you see my comment and just know I care and hope that you are doing great!

I am still seeing Buddhist monks around the metro stations in Washington DC, they are persistent, that's for sure. I am grateful that their fate is holding these signs of the Buddha marked with information on wisdom of ultimate reality causing happiness based on truths. It is attracting good energy. There have not always been this many real Buddhist monks in this area.

I have everything in the house unplugged once again (I do this weekly). I am thankful to mother earth for her wisdom and bounty, I am grateful that I have not overtaken from her and I am grateful in a very special way for recent advancements in popularizing the use of biofuel (soy, hemp, sunflower seeds, vegetable oil, and bamboo based) thus significantly diminishing the use of environmentally detrimental fossil fuels. I am grateful that I have been able to walk through the trees on the long path this week and ground my energy by hugging trees and celebrating the beauty of wild nature areas. The lack of waste, lessening of waste is a true good feeling and slow awakening. These are the good habits.

I am grateful for suburbs, I am grateful for the feeling of walking around in a quiet neighborhood, not flanked by huge buildings or full of traffic. I am grateful for the herbs that grow along the sides of the roads, many of them that are unidentifiable, I am grateful for the wisdom they hold quietly within, though it takes a deep listener to even begin to get any of it from them. I am grateful for the little parks and hidden paths.
