Every Moment Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Am I afraid Of all the things that I can't change? No one's to blame When all my weaknesses remain We're all the same Don't let me sink Before I get to find the words and I'm forgotten Don't let me blink I wanna savour every moment Tell me if you ever wake up thinking If you ever wondered how it feels Knowing it could end and there will come a time When it's too late to say goodbye Say goodbye Can't lie awake Can't live in fear of what's ahead So now I'll take Every chance until the end (Until the End) Don't let me sink Before I get to find the words and I'm forgotten Don't let me blink I wanna savour every moment Tell me if you ever wake up thinking If you ever wondered how it feels Knowing it could end and there will come a time When it's too late to say goodbye So let's just do it Let's make it happen This might be your last chance So do it before it's too late Push yourself to the limit Drop your doubts Take control of your life Don't let me sink Before I get to find the words and I'm forgotten Don't let me blink I wanna savour every moment Tell me if you ever wake up thinking If you ever wondered how it feels Knowing it could end and there will come a time When it's too late to say goodbye Say goodbye

Man this was a fun listen! I might be a lot of softer than Pardon My French, but the material itself is ten times more nuanced and polished. I really like how accentuated the cleans are, Bert has come a long way since their debut album!

Charlie's Drum Corner I agree!

Charlie's Drum Corner Ten times ? Wow dude, maybe not so much... The pop punk influence is really more present than it was in Pardon My French. I think of "What Goes Around", "Worst Case Scenario". Yet the instrumental is still kinda heavy, it's just softer than their previous songs, and I don't call this "nuanced", just more "pop-punk" like some songs were in their first album. Now the sound is more a less the same than in PMF, except for Bert's voice, like you said. But where's all the screaming ? To make it simple : good album, but way too soft. There is also one thing I really can't bear : the rime with "SCENARIO / STEREO". Shit, this is a fucking cliché of pop punk music, they could have avoid it. I lose my mind every time I hear it C:

You raise some valid points by I stand by my opinion. This album is an absolute banger and much more diverse than anything they've done. Each track really stands out in their own way IMO :)
@heroofjune52739 жыл бұрын
Charlie's Drum Corner lol thats funny I completely disagree. Kinda felt like all the songs sound similar and none really stand out. I suppose I mainly enjoyed their heavier side and they completely strived away from that, but even so I felt like none of the pop songs were nearly as good as 'Taking Chances" for example. Kinda a plain album but that my opinion :)

Chunk No Captain Chunk, Brings friends together. Fuck yeah!!!
@psyvoi34339 жыл бұрын
Lets be real here, guys. Chunk is pop punk. The screaming adds heaviness to their music, but really it boils down to punk deviation. They fit in very well with other pop punk bands, not with metalcore bands. The dynamic nature of their music just makes it more like pop punk. At their heaviest, they are Easycore. Just my opinion but I'm tired of seeing them labeled as a metalcore band when they really aren't, and this album only further proves my point.

I know this album is good, but now that I know its not another Pardon My French, I think I will have to come back to it later without that expectation blocking my ears. It is very likely they are trying to broaden their appeal and may come back to heavier stuff later on. Still a great, unique sounding band either way. Cheers guys. Whoever in Fearless records, mixes, and masters their stuff by the way, fucking brilliant work. I've never heard crunchy guitars sound so perfect, between this album and PMF.
