Dickeyfighter7861 Same here, I was really into His Last Walk when I was younger, and enjoyed Witness some, but they fell off my radar after a few singles and album tracks off their other releases didn't really grab me. This song placed the vocals well and has a nice, brisk pace. It's got me interested to hear other tracks, that's for sure.

I give them props for having a consistent sound. Many bands in the scene seem to be trying to cross into the mainstream with big changes in their signature sound. So while this new BlessTheFall song sounds cliche and as If it could've been on their last record, I like that it sounds typical of them. A sort of familiarity that we can slip into. They aren't gambling with this song. Which may prove they have bigger balls than those who think they need to significantly change their sound to keep existing as a band. But even though I give BTF a metaphorical high five, I can see how this might be boring to listeners. They could've spruced things up instead of dusting off an oldie.
