FearTalk 29: Budding Fearologists Discuss Fear of Death

Dr. R. M. Fisher, invited his students from past courses on "Understanding Fear" taught online at local Elder Colleges programs. The group agreed to be recorded for part of our session--as one of a biweekly series of sessions for all those who take Michael's intro course.

One of the things I appreciate about this group of elder learners, consistently, is their ability to listen to each other and to think at the edge of our knowing and knowledge--to risk to not make sense. And, no one judges (or competes with) that creative emergent sharing. What a great model for human sociality at its best. Question(?): Does this quality of care in a group of strangers like this happen more easily than not because they took a course on fear together and fear is the central kernel of the reason for being in the group?
