This was my Uncle Jimmy's favorite game. When I was a kid in the 80's I would watch him play this. Good memories.

I was a small kid when I beat this in the 80s...it was SO frustrating (constantly falling and having to get EVERY chest...yes, I'm one of those.), that the *INSTANT* I beat it, I was done with it. I can't even imagine playing it so much that I had it all memorized to the extent you do.

This game is easily one of my top five NES games. A much-loved go-to for some casual nostalgia. And... dear Lord! This god among gamers does this game in 17:04?! I'm still in the first stage 17 minutes in!

I used to freak out when I heard that 'warning music' anytime Kuros had only three notches of health. I loved this game back in the day. I beat it too, but admittedly, I used at LEAST five continues to do so :P Thanks for posting this and making VERY good use of the Boots of Force =)

I only played this game a few times as a kid and had spent more time with Ironsword (which I thought was insanely difficult). Question though, if this is a speed run why spend so much time gathering gems? Are they necessary to advance and I’m missing something? Great run and entertaining video!
@tutzdesYT4 жыл бұрын
You need certain amount of gems to access a door to the next level. I remember searching for gems in this game to be pretty painful and tedious on some levels. NES Jungle Book used the same principle (also a great game).
