I think it's great they put out a combat event worth talking about! I just wish not so much of it was locked behind region specific mechanics. Or at least they could give a way to unlock loaner characters.

Never fought this enemy before got wiped out twice before even denting it halfway, but the breakdown of this boss's techniques was solid enough advice that helped me beat. Thanks for the vid.

The best guide for this boss. I couldn't beat it. I haven't met it before, I didin't know the mechanics. Strange thing, even in the Abyss when we meet a new enemy we are getting a tutirial pop up, but not here. I used the same team to beat it (even without Xilonen's weapon). Previously I tried burgeon, but the boss can detonate dendro cores created by the player and hyperbloom them with their own cores.

i hate this boss because of how many teams i ran thru and how long to beat it. Team that completed was Thoma/ Dehya/ Mualani/ Bennett. to the last half second Mualani got it.

Something worth noting, at least in the overworld variant.. the damage reflection doesn’t come into play if you use a bow. (At least when I used Ganyu, that’s how I got that one duelist achievement.)

I managed to kill the chicken with 40 seconds to spare on the clock, but this thing I just couldn't defeat... I don't have any Natlan characters beside Kachina, and don't actually have characters with mobility either. I ended up using Neuvilette, Furina, Xiangling and Kachina as a team, a bonus being my Kachina is actually somewhat build and leveled. I saved Xianglings burst for the shield, and use Furina for healing / buff, and Neuvilette as dps. It took me so so so many tries, and the moment he got his shield, the lightning would generally just 1 shot my characters... or I could not outrun his spin attack (Luckily Neuvilette is ranged, which gave me a headstart)

I did the same team, it’s pretty much a requirement to use xiangling if you don’t have Mualani and heavy hitters are definitely recommended.

@@jengajune3886 if you're new I suppose. I haven't spent any money on Genshin in over a year and when I did it was for Eula, who I don't even use lol. All the characters shown were pulled from months of saving gems and exploring everywhere. The rewards for doing this difficulty aren't even good, you can get all the gems from doing the 2nd difficulty which is way easier.

Beat it but it was a struggle. Used Yelan,Xilonen,Xiangling and Bennett. I hate using Xiangling and Bennett but it was the most effective. Food buffs help a lot. Qiqi,Diluc,Lyney special dish helps a lot along with potions.

I only had kinnich built from all natlan characters and is so annoying because you cannot atk him e skill more than twice because then he starts spinning which you cant dodge in kinnich e state

is it possible to do this boss without natlan characters? I onlt have kachina cuz the game forced me to get her but I don't have her built.

You would have to whale on limited 5 star characters like Furina for example or Nahida at C2 at least. You can try to pull it off with 3 characters if they're strong enough, because all Kachina needs to do is use her burst 2x for the buff to take effect. But yeah it's gonna be pretty difficult otherwise.

todays one (dendro chicken) is a huge dps check even with an optimal arle team I still ran outa time.

I don't know what the hell they mean Nightsoul if your Nightsoul will make more dmg what's this mean?

Nightsoul is a Natlan character exclusive mechanic just like how Pneumia and Ousia are a Fontaine character specific mechanic. So, you need a Natlan character to activate this buff which will increase your damage of everything by 100%. You can use Kachina since she's given for free, but it will be hard since she's not that great. Xilonen provides RES shred and plenty of elemental DMG buffs to make this difficulty somewhat possible.
