People would ask: Why does God make suffering? But He doesn't. Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because they wanted to be their own God. So do we. We go about our lives in rebellion against God. Look at our world. The beauty. And the overwhelming suffering. It's due to our free will being used to rebel against God. Since we try to be God, our world is messed up and fallen. But, God still loves us, so he made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. If we would just turn and give ourselves to Jesus, we would receive the Holy Spirit that would lead us to want to do good and not want sin anymore. It'll break the desire for rebellion. Jesus suffered for our sins and offers our debt completely paid through Him, if we would just humble ourselves and agree that us rebelling is wrong. If we don't, we continue to cause suffering and will be given justice for every sin on judgement day. Eternal punishment is terrifying, yet we chose it. We must repent (agree with God that sin is terrible and turn from our sins) and have faith in Jesus. Not ourselves.

My mom always does boodle fight for birthdays... and in my apartment building, 80% of the people are filipino. So on Filipino independence day, we all bring the picnic tables in the back together, invite the filipinos (and some non-filipinos) to have a really big boodle fight. Everyone brings at least one rice cooker worth of rice and a few side dishes

Well, back when the Mayflower reached America. They almost all died because of winter and a shortage of food. The rest that survived tried and failed farming. One day the native Americans came and taught them how to farm crops. To show how thankful they were they had a five day feast with all the food they gathered.
@mollybrown83615 жыл бұрын
WhEthin ahhh okay thank you for the explanation. Didn’t the immigrants to America go on to seriously abuse and mistreated the native Americans?
@ethanjarvis67885 жыл бұрын
Molly Brown Sadly, Yes. They went on to murder and push the natives out of their own land. The five days were the only major peaceful time between the natives and pilgrims.
