I am trying to find out how this set up prevents squirrels from accessing the feed, nowhere can I find this matter addressed. Other than that, I'm all in.

That was a concern of mine as well. It does not come with a post so if you use what they ship with it you’ll be mounting it to a tree or fence which would allow squirrels to walk right up to the feeder. The post I bought has been in place for about two months or so and I have yet to have a squirrel attempt to access the feeder and I have squirrels all over my yard. We’ll see what happens when food becomes more scarce in the winter.
